Quiet- most dryers have a loud motor, like a leaf blower, or a mixer. This one is like a fan. It just blows air. Love the Medium setting- I usually use the cool setting to save damaging my hair, but this Medium setting is like room temperature. Very light-Less than a pound. I have fine/thin hair, so I refuse to spend hundreds of dollars on a hair dryer when I can just walk through a breezy room, but this is a great price and my hair is smooth (and looks a LOT better than air drying). I love this hair dryer! I was skeptical due to its low price. It dries great, leaves my hair soft and frizz free, its light and the magnetic attachment is strong and doesnt fall off. Its only drawback is where the heat adjustment button is located its easy to hit it and change the temp while you are using it but it doesnt change my rating of the product. I really like it!!! I’ve used this hair dryer for over 6 months now. It is definitely a little quieter than a regular hair dryer. I really do like it , however, like others have said, it’s easy to accidentally hit the heat selector button and change it. My hands are not big at all and I’ve done it many times. If you put your hand lower you get into the area where the air intake is. I do think they should reverse the on/low/high button that you press up and the heat selector button that you push in. Just my thoughts though and my reasoning for 4 stars. My hair is a pixie cut and dries quickly so I can’t attest to the speed of drying longer hair. It’s small in size and very lightweight. I bought this two weeks ago and only managed to use it once. The second time I used it, the switch stopped working. It stays on even on the "0" setting, so I have to unplug it to turn it off. Total disappointment. I understood when buying an inexpensive hair dryer that it wouldn't be as powerful or high-end as professional ones, but I at least expected it to work properly. Read more
