I have 4B/C hair and I absolutely love this brush dryer! I did a lot of research before settling on this one. The handle is comfortable while using, not too big. I divided my hair into about 6 sections and use slow strokes evenly over each section. I pause a few seconds to allow the heat to get into the hair at times before guiding down. This dryer gives the perfect amount of heat compared to my other comb attachment dryer. I use to have smoke in the bathroom using that one! With this dryer I know my hair isnβt get damaged. Fast drying time and less shedding. My roots were also perfectly blown out. Highly recommend! Read more

Don't fund the ballroomβOctober 23, 2025
The media could not be loaded. This brush is a little different from others I've used. I've had brushes this shape that heated, and I've had dryer-brushes that are round, but this is my first dryer-brush that has a flat brush instead of a round one. This is a brush for smoothing my already-straight-haired nieces' hair. I have super-curly hair and don't straighten it, but I have a lot of straight-haired kids and teens in my life who are always trying various devices like this one. (For privacy, I used a human-hair mannequin head for my video. I don't show the kids' pictures online.) Since I'm used to brushes of this shape being the heated kind, the air sound startled me the first time I turned it on. It has a cool setting and two heat settings. The highest heat setting wasn't super-hot. There's no temperature read-out, so I don't know how hot it actually is. The area around the brush heated up fast but took a while to cool down after using it. I like this dryer brush better than the round dryer brushes. This one is easier to use than the round ones. I also like it better than the heated brushes. However, as you can see in my video, the dryer air blows the hair between brush strokes. I think it's meant to be used on wet hair, which wouldn't blow around as much, but I'm too nervous about touching an electrical device directly to wet hair, especially on the kids. It does get hair dry, and it smooths the already-straight hair. It works well for that purpose. I also found that even though I don't like the loud noise, it was kind of relaxing to use, even using it on someone else's hair. I wish the handle were thinner, because it's kind of rough on my hand muscles, but I guess the handle must house the motor which must need to be that big. If you're doing only one person's hair or only your own hair, maybe the handle will be fine. If you have multiple kids' hair to get through, or if you're a professional hair stylist, this might be too tiring on hand muscles. Read more
