I actually got the matching backpack and pencil bag as well. My sister buys her a subscription to Highlights magazine every year and it is the ‘highlight’ of her day when it arrives! She was so excited and felt pretty cool to get the set. After all, it’s tie dyed in her favorite color and branded with a familiar respected name. What more could she want. I like it because it’s well made and seems like it will last. The smooth waterproof liner easily wipes clean but only issue I’ve seen so far is her not being careful how she puts her fork in and there are a few indents (but not poked through). This is a generally good quality insulated lunch bag. The materials and workmanship are good. I have 4 elementary school aged kids, so we've owned many lunch bags similar to this over the years. This one is about in the middle of the pack. It's not the best, most durable and insulated bag we've had, but it also isn't a lower quality thin/cheap feeling bag. Given that the bag is good but not the absolute best, I do think that the $24.99 price is a little bit high. I would definitely feel like this bag is a better value in the $15-$20 price range. The media could not be loaded. I needed a lunchbox that would fit my son’s bento and still have room available for snacks that he will need for snacktime at school. I checked the dimensions of this lunchbox and it seemed to be able to fit it so I thought I’d give it a try, bonus points was the fact that the design matches the bento that I got for my son! He loves the dinosaur lunchbox! So, I am really happy with this lunchbox and so is my soon to be kindergartener! It is easy to zip and unzip, it is well insulated, it has an area for you to write your child’s name on, and it has an extra pocket for utensils and napkins. The fabric feels strong, and the inside is lined with waterproof material that is easy to clean. It feels well-made and I think that it will hold up well to daily use. Read more

I have a pink and rainbow loving kid in this a perfect lunch box for her. It's got enough padding that I can put a cold pack in there and it gets her through lunch time easily. I have literally filled this thing up with water and cleaned it out because we regularly have yogurt and the like coating the inside of it. Easy to clean, dries quickly and hides the stains that happen when it gets dragged outside for lunch because there's so much going on. The zipper works well and we are pleased. Read more

I got this for my five year old who just started kindergarten and so far it seems like a perfect fit. The bag itself is well-made and roomy enough to fit a small thermos, a container and other snacks. I'm hoping I can still fit snacks in once I pack a bento container in here. The glow in the dark feature is a cool one, though I'm not sure my son will ever see that it glows since it's always daytime when he's using the lunch bag. Read more

Got this for my seven year old and she loves it! Perfect size to fit her basic lunch needs. Enough room to throw in a plastic container if wanted. It’s water resistant and insulated and the easy grip handle is ideal size and multi functional. My favorite part is the gentle reminder “you matter” that she gets to read every day!
