These shoes are fantastic. I own several pairs of Hike Footwear, and I will keep buying them! I have a friend that buys a pair every time a new color comes out she loves them so much. I keep seeing them on people's feet all the time now and we always (even strangers) notice and start talking about how much we love them. I am 76 and these are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, and trust me... right now I am all about comfort! (and safety). I don't know how long they will last but two of my pair have been worn for a long time now and have been through multiple washes! And these boots... they are not only comfortable but warm! First I sincerely want to say thank you to products support! I did not receive my 1st order. Once addressed, they immediately sent me a replacement pair. When ordered, I received a realistic delivery date which turned out to be exact. The shoes are very comfortable to wear, very attractive and light weight. My wife has 3 pair and I have two. All of my other brands are in the closet and May never come out. They are so lite and comfortable you don!t know you have them on. Will definitely recommend these shoes! Read more

They are comfortable and do seem to grip ice and packed snow better than other boots, However I would not recommend them for bare Rocky trails. I could feel every stone. Probably not the best for long walks either but for walking into snow. Read more

Shoe runs short. I generally wear size 9 but toes rub on the end of the shoe. I suggest you order up one size. I'm going to try size 10. Hopefully it will fit. The shoe is comfortable and my bunion doesn't hurt with the wide toe box. Generally wide shoes are also wide in the heal and slip up and down. The wide toe box on the shoe feel great and the heal area fits without slipping. Read more

The boots are NOT waterproof as advertised.. I walked in the rain and they soaked through immediately which made them very uncomfortable. The advertised wide foot is wrong, my toes were very cramped. They are not slip resistant. While my feet were warm wearing completely soaked through boots was very uncomfortable. Read more

Shoes are very comfortable but run a little small. I really wanted a 6 1/2 but it was not offered do I got a 6. I can wear them but without socks. If I had it to do over, I would have gotten a 7 so I could wear socks! Love the mint green color! Read more

Honestly, these shoes look great. They have bungee style laces, the fleece lining is soft and doesnt get itchy. You can definitely feel the ground under your feet. Theyre breathable. The rubber treads are thin enough for your feet to move freely. I would avoid gravel or wearing them in places where it may easily degrade the rubber treads. They're thin enough that it feels as though they'll quickly take chunks out of the rubber. I would compare the treads similar to the feel of converses with extra traction. For the size, they advertised going one size up. I followed the instructions and did just that. If you plan on wearing regular day to day or thinner socks, they will fit snugly. I would recommend going 2 sizes up if you plan on wearing winter socks or anything thicker for cold weather. I still need to break them in but this is the "out of the box" feel. The quality is nice. I feel as though these shoes could easily retail for double what is posted. They dont look cheap and you can tell who the shoes were intended for. The stitching is nice and the logo on the tongue presents a quality look. They dont look nor feel bulky even though theyre meant for cold weather usage. Probably the best minimalist approach to cold weather shoes I've seen in a while! I would buy again. You cant really beat that price. Read more
