I picked up the HIKE Footwear tennis shoes version for everyday walking and light hiking, and so far I’m really impressed. They were comfortable right out of the box, with good cushioning and arch support. I’ve noticed less knee pain on my daily walks, which is a huge win. The fit is true to size, and the shoes feel lightweight but supportive. Great grip on sidewalks, gravel paths, and even light trails. They’ve got a sporty look too, so I’ve been wearing them casually as well. It’s a bit early to say how the material will hold up with extended wear, but I’ll update the review after more miles. For now, they’ve held up great through a few longer walks and still look brand new. The shoes are very comfortable and I love the wide toe box. However, I am a past sufferer of plantar fasciitis, and had it for three years before it finally stopped being painful. This shoe promotes itself as being good for plantar fasciitis, but I can attest that it is not. Within a few days of wearing the shoes, I started to get that familiar heel pain. I stopped using the shoes immediately and resumed my stretching exercises which quickly stopped the heel pain. If you've never had plantar fasciitis, the shoes would probably be wonderful as they are very comfortable. If you start to notice any pain in your heel, stop using the shoes. Read more

Great shoes. I love this brand of shoes. These are more like tennis shoes not as thin as the other Hike styles. They take up a little more room in more door hanger organizer and in the suitcase. Lots of room for your toes. Very comfortable. Read more
