My two picky, picky little Poms willingly eat this food. I had been making their food because they have easily upset stomachs, wouldn’t touch commercially prepared food like Fresh Pet or Farmer’s Dog, and they refused all attempts at supplementing/switching to dry food - until we tried this. It is truly just perfectly sized for tiny mouths and teeth, which makes it inviting. They were a little resistant at first and would just occasionally nibble, but I always kept a couple of tablespoons available by their water and they eventually made the switch themselves because they liked it. I sprinkle a probiotic powder on it that they love and that starts them eating. They are satisfied, healthier, no stomach issues or nasty burps or poo, and I no longer cook for my dogs! I switched to Hill’s Science Diet Small & Mini (Adult 1–6) after trying a few other brands that my little dog either turned her nose up at or that upset her stomach. This one has been perfect. The kibble pieces are actually small enough for tiny mouths, and my dog gobbles it up like it’s gourmet. I’ve noticed her coat looking shinier, her energy staying consistent throughout the day, and her digestion has been so much better — no more random tummy issues. A massive hit with my Yorkies! I am a dog owner with a house full of small dogs—I currently have seven Yorkshire Terriers—so finding a food that pleases everyone is a huge challenge. I can happily say this dry food has been a fantastic find! My Yorkies absolutely love the taste, and they eat every bite. This is a huge relief, as they can sometimes be picky eaters. Since they are a specific small breed, I appreciate that this food is formulated to meet their nutritional needs. I have a 2 and a half pound dog. It’s hard to get them food that is acually mini like they say here. I have found this size perfect for all 5 of my small dogs. They seem to like them very much too. I’m not sure it’s the size of the food morsels or the taste but they seem to do very well with eating this brand. I recommend to anyone that has miniature fur babies. Read more
