I loved wearing this! Not only does it look great, I loved that it’s a true corset without the zipper on the side. It was easy enough to get on, and was comfortable enough for me to wear for an entire day at the ren faire without having to re-lace or loosen it! I would say it was true to size, but I personally wish I’d have sized down for a bit of a tighter fit. The boning was sturdy and not overly flexible, and the lace was strong enough to pull it as tight as I wanted. It does also come with plenty of extra lace to be able to adjust the sizing to your fit, I’m 5’2 and after it was fully laced and on I still had lace pooling on the floor & had to trim it some. I was totally blown away when this arrived! It suggested a M but I took my measuring I’m so glad I went with the SMALL! Fits like a glove, looks great over my other costume and the ribbon is SUPER long governing you enough to loosen and work with! DONT CUT IT right away you might need that extra slack when adjusting it and you can tuck it inside the corest after lacing up! THe material is made quite well especially considering the price! Loved it, super sturdy and good quality. I probably could have sized down but I’m normally a medium, fit all the way tightened but didn’t feel necessarily tight. Was definitely a pain getting on and off after I cut the ribbons. Still cute and totally recommend. Read more

Sooo cute!!! The string is a bit long but you can cut off what ribbon you don’t want to use and seal the ends by heating the ends up. Don’t cut too much because you’ll want to be able to get in and out of it without losing the string. Not too difficult to restring just time consuming. Read more

This was my first time wearing a corset for an outfit and I absolutely loved it. It framed my body so nicely. Obviously it’s very tight but if you’re buying a corset that’s the look you’re going for. It took me and someone else to put it on/ take it off but also- seems normal for this. I would have done great in this era being strapped in tight but my husbands hands definitely were hurting from all the pulling on the strings you have. It takes just as long to take off as it takes to put on so just be patient with it. Read more

I'm a C cup with a 32" waist, and I had to /\ lace, instead of V lace as shown in the picture, and the top was too generously big for my bust, and barely covered my waist. It took two hours for me to get the shoulder laces and the front laces right for my long torso, but that is partly inexperience on my part. I agree with another reviewer that this is somewhere between an underbust and a balconet corset, and the shoulder straps are not long enough, even with trying to lift the ladies higher, to achieve the look in the picture. I do have medical restrictions with lacing, but I COULD have tight laced to the max, and still had too much room between my bust and the fabric. So the fit was really not great for my proportions. BUT, once I was /\ laced and the straps where 3-4" apart, held together by the virtue of the ribbons, I slept in this with a gown under, and by morning it was molded to my body in a way I've been told only happens with good boning. This definitely has good boning, and is available in some great patterns. The fabric canvas felt strong, and I suspect even if I did medieval faires for work, this would hold up to daily use. By morning, it was redeemed, and was a decimal place cheaper than similar items at my local medieval faire. Read more

Runs a little big! Ordered the smallest size and it's still a little loose up top. Lots of adjustment ability, just be patient with the string. Easier with 2 people to help you get it on. Colors are a nice cozy brown! Would recommend for Ren Fest type events for sure! Thick material. Read more
