These are a surprisingly decent set of normal sunglasses, but the "smart" capability leaves much to be desired. The glasses themselves feel nicer than your standard $10 gas station pair of glasses which was a welcomed surprise for the price point. The lenses are clear and tinted well, the polarization works well and the hinges operate smoothly and stay shut. The glasses are also pretty comfortable to wear, I've worn them for an entire afternoon and found them plenty comfortable. As for the bluetooth... well, it connects very quickly, and I really like the design of them turning off and on simply by closing or opening the hinges. That's sort of the end of the positives though, these are very quiet even on max volume. I'm sure the sound level varies depending on a persons head/ear size so I don't want to completely bash it, but I feel like my head is a pretty standard size, I wear a Medium elongated oval motorcycle helmet for reference. The sound quality is also not great, they sound very tiny and flat. These will work fine for phone calls or podcasts, but I wouldn't recommend them for music. I find myself using them at work (I work outside) if I want to listen to a podcast quietly without bothering others around me, and for that they work well enough. Read more
OK, these cycling glasses are pretty slick. They have a lightweight frame, UV 400 protection, and the opener Bluetooth speakers mean I can listen to music, take calls, or hear navigation without stuffing buds into my ears. The Bluetooth 5.4 connection is very stable and quick to pair. The magnetic charge is nice, and the playtime is decent for medium length rides, as it lasts about six hours. These are not made to be serious high-end audio gear. The sound is nice but a little thin. Base is limited and if you ride it Speed, wind noise washes out some of the sound. Also, if you sweat a lot or ride in rain, moisture, and how well the glasses seal or stay put can be annoying. Otherwise, they fit really well. So they’re great for the casual fun rides, commuting, or when you want hands-free connection, but maybe not the best for hard-core performance days. I’ve actually really loved them for when I get out on the road. Overall, if know what you’re getting in these glasses, you will love them. Just don’t take them too seriously as HQ audio glasses. 5 stars Read more
It lasted less than 3 hours and it sounds crackly 😔 Read more
The HJX Smart Cycling Glasses are fantastic! The Bluetooth 5.4 connection is stable and pairs quickly with my phone, allowing me to listen to music and take calls hands-free while riding. Plus the open ear design is safer than wearing in the ear. The sound quality is surprisingly clear for glasses, and the 6-hour battery life easily lasts through long rides. I also love the magnetic charging feature—super convenient and hassle-free. The glasses themselves are lightweight, comfortable, and stylish, making them perfect for cycling and outdoor activities. I personally chose the UV activated gray, which I love for evening rides with bright sunsets that fade to dusk. Overall, a great blend of tech and practicality. Highly recommend for anyone looking upgrade their ride! Read more
Sigh. I really wanted to love these since they are such a reasonable price. However, I kind of feel like a buyer’s money would be wasted unless mediocrity is acceptable to them. The musical aspect is greatly lacking, and it is only sensible to wear them outside as indoors it is hard to see. That may very well be all you need though. The sound quality of the calls is quite iffy, and some of my calls have been dropped. However, on the occasion the calls are uninterrupted, it IS pretty darn cool to have them. Plus, the glasses on their own merit are well made just as sunglasses. Just remember if you do buy them not to expect much. Read more
These glasses make my rides SO much better. The lenses are super clear, and the Bluetooth feature is a lifesaver—I hear GPS directions perfectly without fumbling with my phone. They stay put even on bumpy trails, and the charging case is super handy. Oh, and they look like high-end fashion sunglasses (my biking group asked for the link!). Worth every penny Read more
