These shoes are really comfortable and I am a big fan of the style, toe box is wide without looking like clown shoes in my opinion They were very hard to get on the first few times I wore them but they seem to have stretched out just enough to not be as difficult to get on. I also wear very thin socks with the shoes so that helps out. Read more

Very nice shoes, high quality. A struggle to get my feet into them though. The hole to get a foot in is very hard to get into, and I have slim feet. Once they are on, fit perfectly. Hopefully they get broken in after a while of use. My thumbs are aching from the first try on. Read more

I love Hobibear shoes, and own 7 pairs. This boot was my latest purchase and as always they are super-comfortable right out of the box and look great too. I was concerned that they may bee too warm but they're quite breathable. I ordered my normal size (9) and they were a perfect fit. I highly recommend these boots -- I can't imagine that you'll be disappointed. Read more

I ordered the HOBIBEAR Barefoot Minimalist Shoes from Amazon, and they were shipped to me lightning fast. Amazon’s delivery service can outrun anyone. I was looking for some light-duty hiking shoes for my wife. She typically likes zero-drop shoes and has found that they work best for her. So when I saw these shoes on Amazon, I quickly ordered them. Opening the package revealed a pretty rugged-looking pair of shoes. Again, they are zero-drop shoes that wear very much like a minimalist barefoot shoe. The quality of this product, from our initial impression, was fantastic. There appeared to be no defects in the mold for the soles, and the stitching on all the seams was spot on. If this is any indication of their longevity, they seem rugged, tough, and long-lasting. Being a zero drop shoe or minimal shoe, they actually is a little less padding so I don’t know how warm these shoes will be during the colder months or in the snow or ice. My wife commented that they looked very rugged, so she proceeded to try them on. This is where we encountered our first issue: actually getting the shoe on. The number one problem with these shoes was how difficult it was to get them on. She stated that the elastic material at the tongue doesn’t have enough stretch or leeway to allow her foot to enter naturally. My wife actually had to use a shoehorn to get these shoes on. Aesthetically, these are very rugged-looking shoes. They appear to be purpose-driven shoes with no apologies about it. In the end, my wife honestly told me that they looked a bit too masculine for her. But I encouraged her to give them a try. We went on a hike the very next day, but again, the number one complaint from her was how tough it was to get them on. From a value perspective, at the price point these are offered, in my honest opinion, better deals can be found with a big name brand shoe. Would I recommend these to others at this point? No, I would not. The chief complaint from my wife is that they are too difficult to get on and require a shoehorn to fit into them without discomfort. We did verify that these were the correct size, and once her feet are inside, they are indeed the correct size. Read more

I've been wanting to get into walking for a while now and wanted to get some shoes that are super comfortable to walk around in. I ordered these in a 10 and they fit perfectly and have been affectionately dubbed my Sora shoes because of the round shape at the front. I've been using these to walk a mile every day to see how they feel and I was happily surprised with how comfortable they are to walk in. The only issue I've had so far is the part around the ankle. It rubs oddly when I walk and isn't painful so far but is annoying and I notice it a lot as I walk. I do have larger ankles though so maybe that is a part of it. If you don't have that same issue this is a nice shoe to walk around in without having to worry about sore feet when you get home. Read more
