Finally a shoe (boot) that fits my foot. Just ordered another pair in brown, plus a couple other Hobibear styles that I hope will work for me. I love the wide toe box that after 70 years of culturally-prescribed self-mutilation finally doesn't squish my toes. I love the zero drop that lets my hip and knee joints align in the way they were designed to, and I like the thin flexible sole that lets me feel what I am walking on. Love these. So cute. Will say though, it’d be nice if barefoot shoe companies could get on the same page size-wise. I’m normally a 7-7.5 US women’s shoe. Really wish they had half sizes.. I chose to go with the 6 over the 7. 6.5 would’ve been perfect. I’m a 7.5 in xero shoes 7 in whitten 6 in saguaro. So confusing Oh, and I DO wish these dark brown ones came with the faux fuzz inner lining. Love these. I have the regular shoe of essentially the same style which I love, and so I felt confident about getting these. They’re waterproof and slip on, despite what the listing might say. Tho water could get through the edge of the tongue, so in that sense they are not waterproof. Right out of the box they make my heel ache more than other styles, and I think it just might be that they need more use to break in than other styles. I fully expect them to break in though. I don’t have a problem with them rubbing my ankles or leg in a painful way, even in short socks. They fit like I expect, with a lot of room. I wear size US 10.5 or 11 women’s and I got whatever correlates to EU 43. It’s currently listed as 11 women’s/10 men’s, but that’s not the proper US conversion for women’s to men’s.
