The 28" seam was probably a bad choice on my end because it does feel like high waters when worn. I'm 5'5" and do have longer legs and I was hoping the 28" seam was going to hit around the ankle for me but in fact it's going above it so it looks a little awkward on me. These pants really depends on the type of shoes you are pairing it with. I love the material because it's stretchy and that's my ideal comfort for work pants. I do not like the zipper down the middle but it works so thankfully it's seamless and hidden. These Hody Lovy pants are pretty nice. My skin is sensitive to the feel of fabric and these pants are just smooth and soft enough for my skin to tolerate. Could they be softer? Yes, but they're good enough that I don't feel icky when the fabric rests against my skin. The fit is good. I chose the XXL (35" to 36" waist on their size chart) because I don't like tight bands around my 34" waist and these fit nicely. I probably could've opted for the XL, but I wanted to be sure these would be comfortable. The hips aren't too large, either. I don't have much of a waist so pants are generally too small in the waist or too huge in the hips for me but these seem to have a slightly straighter cut so the waist fits me AND the hips don't have a ton of extra fabric around them, making them look bigger. There's elastic on the sides of the waist band so I didn't even need to unzip these to pull them on. The length is a touch long for me though but it's not too bad. I can work with it. They do seem a little thin, light easily shows through the fabric, so I'll make sure not to wear bright or white undies, I guess. I'm utterly tired of see-through clothing. These pants still get 5 stars from me though for the cut actually fitting my straighter/boxy frame. It's rare for me to find pants that fit nicely both in the waist and hips. Read more

I was pretty surprised when I opened these up and they felt more like I was wearing my at home sweatpants rather than office slacks! These are very soft and comfortable with wide, flowy legs. The waist has a zipper to close and elastic for the perfect fit. These are super comfy and the color matches some great outfits! I just worry a bit that they look too much like casual clothing while I'm at my job. The grey color actually looks exactly like sweatpants so I definitely would avoid those if these are for work. They fit just perfectly according to the size chart and are lightweight, thin, and stretchy. I wear seamless underwear but the seams still show more than I like because of how elastic the material is, but with a longer shirt or a darker color (I have the khaki) this probably wouldn't be an issue. The other issue I have with this is that the seams have begun splitting at the zipper. When I try to zip up, I have to be very careful and hold the bottom or the white zipper base will pop out and further fray the seams. I can tuck it back in, but the small hole has been getting more noticeable. This is after maybe a month of use. I still like these pants a lot, but for the price, they are a little more fragile than I'd like and I am still wary of wearing such sweatpant-like slacks to work.
