My large breed puppy loves this adorable toy!!! It’s on the smaller side and my dog loves to carry around. It’s durable and well made, aesthetically cute!! I get a kick out of the fun seeing my puppy interact with it. Makes a low grunting sound when squeezed, way more tolerable and funny compared to loud, high pitched noise. 10/10, my German and Dutch Shepherd LOVES this thing. I got the largest size in blue, and its been 15 minutes and I've literally never seen him more excited for a new or any toy ever. He absolutely adores this thing and the only thing thats broken is the squeaker, which isn't unusual for him as he specifically targets the squeaker when he gets a new toy. I was surprised it lasted 15 minutes! He loves chewing on it, and the durability of it is lovely. The squeaker isn't loud or high pitched, which is great for my mother and I's hearing since we're both autistic and get overloaded from both. I spent quite a bit on the largest size but just had to get it for my grand-puppy who lives in Texas (with my son and daughter-in-law). They talk about armadillos down there all the time. The sound this thing makes is hilarious!! And my pup almost stole it as I was making it squeak(more like a honk) while trying to get it into the package to mail to them. On FaceTime I got to see him play with it and he loved it. The large size is very large. Almost the size of my dog! And I did think the price was high. If it wasn’t for the fact that it was an armadillo I wouldn’t have paid that much, even though it is very well made and fun for both pet and owner with its funny sound. Read more

The armadillo is cute. My pittie, Sasha, was very excited to see it. She just had TPLO surgery on her left knee (she tore her ACL just before the 4th of July), and I wanted to get her something she could play with while she convalesces, that isn't a ball—she really likes to run and jump and chase the ball, but with her knee out of commission, I didn't want her to get depressed being trapped in her crate while she heals—with this toy, she was able to keep playing and not over excert herself and get more hurt. It quickly became her favorite toy; she chews it relentlessly and gets made when I take it from her (see below). It makes a funky squeak that's not a high-pitched squeak, like I thought it would be; it's more a low-pitched, lowing sound like a baby calf. One thing I would like to point out to other purchasers about what the description says: "Durable and Long Lasting - Made from premium soft materials, our cute plush dog toys can withstand rough play for indoor or outdoor and last for years to come. The textured surface also helps massage and soothe your dog's gums during playtime" This is a little misleading. It's a good texture and Sasha loved to play with it, but it wasn't very durable. It might be when compared to other chew toys, but not for my baby. She tore the nose off within 20 minutes of getting it. The next morning, she ripped off an ear, and I had to pull the stuffing out of the face so she wouldn't eat it while chewing away. It’s a cute toy. Gave it to my 56 lb Shepherd mix after breakfast. I could hear the little armadillo oinking away as my dog was enjoying playtime with his new toy. After 5 minutes, silence. This was the fastest he has been able to destroy a toy; ripped his head right off. The internal stuffing is wrapped in plastic that will get shredded. If your dog is gentle and loves to get the most out of their toys, this might be a good purchase for you. If your dog is like mine and wants to find the fastest way to get the squeaker into his mouth, your $10 might end up generating about 5 minutes of playtime. Read more
