We bought this to cover our Palisade and the padding is on the top of the car and just a cover on the sides. We had a severe thunderstorm warning one night and we ran out and put this on the car and it was pretty easy and quick to cover the car. We didn't get any hail, but the padding seems thick enough to protect against some hail, but probably won't protect against large hail. Read more
This worked better than I thought it would. First, it definitely protected my car from pea size to walnut sized hail. I didn’t have a ding or dent after a recent hail storm. Also, it’s super easy to put on the car, and it’s not heavy. It only took me five minutes to put it on my car and I was done. I was pleasantly surprised. Read more
