Holy Lamb Organics Wool Mattress Toppers Full Deep Sleep Topper

I have been sleeping on my son's futon. Its primary purpose is a couch, so it is not as soft as a bed would be. Until he gets his shed converted to his office out back, there is nowhere to store his futon so I can replace it with a real bed. I started with the fluffiest mattress pad cover I could find locally, but it made little difference. This wool topper made a world of difference. I have slept on it for the past 4 nights, and what a difference it makes. I had a wool mattress pad cover on my king size bed in my last house, before I retired and moved to be near my children. I have finally achieved mattress nirvana. It’s taken several mattresses of all types, and much frustration since I last slept well. Most recently, I bought a 6-inch Xinus Ultima Comfort Memory Mattress because I reasoned nothing that thin could possibly sag. I wasn’t crazy about the layer of memory foam that came with it but I knew I wanted latex instead of sag-prone springs from now on. Well, the lack of sag didn’t make up for the sweaty, trapped-in-place experience of memory foam. So I flipped it over -- even though it’s a non-flip mattress – and found latex. It’s very firm, and I was waking up feeling sore and beat up. Enter Holy Lamb organics wool mattress topper (Deep Sleep edition). Since it arrived, I have slept way better than I ever have, waking up rested and relaxed. It’s a miracle. Topper does compress but it's so much better than a synthetic topper. I love that it's all natural and I appreciate the company values. Easy to refresh by hanging outside in the sun. The thicker topper would be better padding/softness but this one is good enough for light padding. Read more
