Wool is the Cadillac or Lexus of sleeping products
I have been sleeping on my son's futon. Its primary purpose is a couch, so it is not as soft as a bed would be. Until he gets his shed converted to his office out back, there is nowhere to store his futon so I can replace it with a real bed. I started with the fluffiest mattress pad cover I could find locally, but it made little difference. This wool topper made a world of difference. I have slept on it for the past 4 nights, and what a difference it makes. I had a wool mattress pad cover on my king size bed in my last house, before I retired and moved to be near my children. I had that for 35 years, and when I sold the bed, the new owner wanted to keep it, so I let them, knowing I was downsizing. The wool products I have had are superior to the feather toppers, which leak feathers, or the foam toppers. I great night's sleep is worth the extra investment.
