I have an L4/L 5 herniated disc and have to have a very specific sleeping position. I gave it four stars because I do not care for the shredded foam, for some products they are fine but I've had some that were terribly uncomfortable. However, this pillow is very comfortable, its a perfect size and fit for what I was looking for. I have cancer which I can only sleep on my left side, which can be uncomfortable after a while, and normal pillows aren't helping with comfort.
