When I ordered this it was beacuse I really liked the timeless design and thought it would look good in a room that also touches of rattans in it. First thing I want to mention, is that this is shipped and each piece is carefully wrapped and protected to avoid damage during shipping. I apprecaite that, because I have ordered other items at the same price point that were shipped with moderate wrapping and protection and the wood had nicks and cuts on it. Assembly took me about 15-minutes. I was a bit confused with the two rubber stoppers that are included which are used with the longer bolts and placed between the metal swivel on the two front bolts. It took me a bit to understand why those are there, but I feel that it's there to help allow some give if you lean forward on it. I may have misunderstood where those rubbber seals go, from the instructions, so if anyone can confirm where they go, that would be great. Overall, this chair is very well constructed, I love that this is made of wood, and the design is so nice. It's also very comfortable to sit in and I like the swivel feature. This is going to be used as a random sitting chair. I am very pleased with the style, ease of assembly, and how sturdy it feels to sit in overall. Read more

This chair is great as a "use sometimes" chair, but I do not think it'd make a comfortable "use every day for 8 hours chair." In this case, you're picking style over function, but that works for me, as I was just needing something for my piano. It's simple to put together, though the instructions were not super clear. I would've appreciated a tiny bit better labeling, but as there are very few parts, I figured it out just fine. Once assembled, it looks great. It's exactly what I wanted. If you're looking for a swivel chair, that you don't need to sit in all day, every day, then I think you'll be really happy with this. Read more
