I have purchased several knife sharpeners in my time but the design of the homly sharpener is by far! The best I have used , and it sharpen inserts are easy to draw not necessarily much pressure needed to create a nice edge the price is reasonable and would recommend this product to anyone who wants a cutting edge and maintain a blade with efficient cutting ! When I received the product, as described, it was like a piece of art. But what I am more concerned about is its functionality. I tried the knife sharpeners at home and the effect was very good. It should be noted that before use, please follow the instructions. When grinding the knife, do not grind it back and forth. The correct method should be to grind it one direction at a time: pull the knife from the blade to the tip. You will receive a new sharp knife. Overall, this is a kitchen necessity that you deserve. I'm not an idiot but for some reason I can't figure out I just can't sharpen a knife properly if my life depended on it. It's very frustrating. I do have a very small sharpener which I have been able sharpen my knives a bit (they were better than when I started) but I felt there had to be something better out there that would work for me. This is a winner. After a failed attempt or two (it's me) I finally got the hang of it and now my knives are much sharper. What a relief. Having the option to sharpen serrated knives and scissors is pretty awesome. I haven't use those settings yet so I can't testify as to how good that works out. This is a handy little sharpener that will allow me to keep my knives sharp. It is a bit on the larger size in my opinion but I'm okay with that since it's working out for me. I just keep it in its box in a kitchen drawer til I'm ready to use it. It seems to be very durable and being able to get a good grip on it makes it a stable item to use. Read more
