I did a lot of research before selecting this mirror and read a lot of the reviews. What I was looking for, as most of you are, was good suction/holding power and a fog-free mirror. A lot of reviews on a lot of other brands of travel shaving mirrors complained about them not actually being fog-free and many times falling off the wall of their shower, including this one. I settled on this brand because it had the highest satisfaction among purchasers and if I wasn't satisfied it would be an easy return. When it arrived I carefully read the instructions. The problems that others were having with this product could have been totally eliminated if they also would have read them. I will emphasize these points; 1) In order for this product to adhere to a shower wall you MUST have a smooth wall with no grout lines going underneath the suction cup and the wall must be totally cleaned where the suction cup will be. Use Windex or other suitable cleaner to make sure soap deposits/dirt are completely removed. Once this is accomplished you place the suction cup on the wall and turn (refer to instructions) to make the seal. It affords an extremely tight seal. I yanked on mine as hard as I could and it wouldn't even budge. After a week of use I decided to move it and it was easy to remove. Just rotate the ring and the suction releases. I put it in the new location and reapplied the suction and it worked as advertised as I have mentioned. I think the reports of customers saying it fell off after so long was because they either didn't first totally clean their shower wall area, applied it to a non-smooth surface, had it over a grout line, or hadn't totally rotated the ring to apply the maximum suction according to the enclosed directions. 2) I must say I was totally impressed with the fog-free operation this product has! I take hot showers and there is always a lot of fog buildup on my shower glass. But NOT on this shaving mirror! Totally clear except when I first installed this product it was pretty close to the shower stream and it received some water spray during a shower. It didn't fog whatsoever but there was a little distortion where the water was coursing down the mirror, but extremely minor. No "water beads". It wouldn't interfere with shaving at all. If I took the directions seriously, I should have attached the mirror where it wouldn't be sprayed with water. Depending on the size of your shower stall you may have an issue where to place it, but do find an area where the least amount of spray/splashing would occur. So, I did remove it and placed it in another protected area and voila! Totally, perfectly clear! For those customers experiencing fogging with this mirror I can only assume that you cleaned it with a glass cleaner because I have found it unfoggable. The directions caution NOT to clean it with any type of cleaner. Just water if need be. It has a special coating on it so if you use a cleaner it will come off and boom. Fogging. I loved this travel shaving mirror so much I bought another one. One for my home shower and one to travel with. And as a side note, you can separate the mirror from the suction cup assembly just by pulling hard. The ball comes right out and you can pack it more securely so it won't get damaged. Pops right back on. Read more
4 out of 5 stars This mirror has genuinely improved my shower routine—when it stays up. The minimalist clear-plastic frame isn’t flashy, but it never looks out of place, and it’ll complement almost any bathroom décor. I especially appreciate the built-in razor holder and the 360° ball-joint mount that lets you angle the mirror exactly where you need it. Installation is a breeze: choose the large suction cup or the included adhesive pad (I never tried the pad). On perfectly smooth walls—like the one in my college’s prefab shower—the suction cup grips firmly and hasn’t let go once. On my parents’ tiled shower, though, it usually holds for only a few hours or a day before popping off, even when I hunt for a “perfect” spot. The anti-fog coating works wonderfully at first, and you won’t steam up mid-shave. Unfortunately, after a few weeks it began to wear off—no heavy scrubbing or harsh cleaners involved—likely from normal soap and water splatter. Once the coating is gone, the mirror fogs like any other. If your shower walls are flawlessly smooth and you can avoid degrading the anti-fog surface, this is a simple, well-priced upgrade that makes your morning routine easier. Just be aware that on uneven tile or after extended use, you may need to reattach—or replace—it sooner than you’d like. Read more
Sticks well, works great for cutting my hair and shaving in the shower stall to minimize mess and cleanup. Good price. Recommend Read more
This mirror functions fine as a mirror but the suction cup that attaches it to the wall is AWFUL. I had to give it one star because no matter how functional the mirror part is, I bought this for the purpose of mounting in the shower and it fails on that. I have replaced this mirror twice as the two others have both fallen many times and eventually they broke. The third one just started falling too (I bought it in September), and it’s happened repeatedly. All were mounted on smooth/newish tile walls not on top of any grout lines. Every time these mirrors have fallen, it’s been in the middle of the night and it scares us out of a dead sleep when we hear something crash (and sometimes break) at 3 am. It never happens when people are using the facilities. I don’t understand why but it almost always begins at around 4 months of use. We tried different methods to clean the suction cup and the wall but it never improved. We also used the plastic adhesive disk to stick to the wall and place the suction cup on that spot. Still fell regularly. My wish would be that there was an adhesive spot that could stick on the tile that would have a bracket to hold the mirror in place. The suction cup is the only part of this mirror that is useless. The mirror is fine but be careful cleaning it. I love that it has the hibge because my husband can use it for shaving and my kids can adjust it so they can check if there still suds in their hair. It’s easy to scratch the mirror cleaning products or even with a paper towel and this ruins the fog proof finish on it. Read more
Purchased this on 20 November 2022, and today is 20 November 2025 and it's in the trash. It had fallen off the wall nearly every season over these last 3 years. Finally this morning (5am) it came off again, and broke. Other than the suction cups (which seem to be the problem for many brands), it's a good little unit. The mirror doesn't fog, but builds up condensate as would be expected. Read more
Clarity and sensibility are the two words to describe this mirror. Perfect for the shower (even with steam!) and sensibly designed for ease of installation. The mirror securely remains on our shower wall, takes up a very small space and provides an excellent user experience. Glad the reviews lived up to the product. Read more
