I've gone through a collection of these and by far this one is the one that does what the rest claim. There is a large improvement in my office just in dust reduction alone. I'm definitely sneezing less and breathing easier. Mine has run 24/7 since I got it a few montha ago and the filters still look great. You can see the dust and air being pulled into it - I'm definitely impressed and have definitely not been by any of the previous air systems. Very well made, sturdy and effective with no gimmicky features or filters. Filters are easy to access and vacuum if needed. Effective even on the lowest setting and quiet enough to not be disturbing at all during movies, phone or with others in my office. Wish I had started with this system instead of the $ wasted on others that were ineffective and lasted a year or less. Read more

This is a great air purifier. Gets rid of the weird odors in my house when I keep up with the charcoal filter, and keeps the wildfire smoke out of my apartment. This unit is a bit heavy, but no problem to move between rooms if I desire. Does a really great job at filtering the air. The fan is strong. I don't think it's loud, and I am sensitive to noise. Turbo setting is a bit loud but no more than a regular house fan. Read more

These just do such a wonderful, QUIET job of filtering the air in my house. I rarely have to change out the filters, and again, they are so quiet and efficient. These do the job and I've had several of mine for years. EXTREMELY HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT. I'm writing this review for you to know you can't go wrong with this style of air-purifier. Read more

We have the larger version of this and wanted a small one to put near a cat's litter box. It works great! We've found after buying several filters that the air intake HAS to be on one side or the entire face of the filter to create an airflow to the filter. If it has little slits on the edges or intakes on the sides, it won't create the airflow to the filter. The Honeywell filters fit the bill. This filter has it's intake in the rear so the air is drawn into the back. We keep it on low speed and it is very quiet. When we clean the litter box, we hit the "Turbo" button and you can see the dust move 2 feet away toward the filter. Read more

Okay so as an air filter, seems to work well. I use this product: 1) Primarily to alleviate my dust mite allergy 2) Also to have white noise for sleeping But I can’t get over how bright and annoying the indicator light is. And it’s also not like one dot that you can permanently put black tape over. The entire interface is ringed by a circular light display. I sharpied over as much as I could, but I still need to put something like a few sticky notes over it before going to bed every night. Granted, if you want this to double as a night light, then maybe this is great for you. But if light bothers you when you’re trying to sleep, I wouldn’t recommend this. Maybe I’m more sensitive than most but idk why they designed it this way. Speaking of that button, there’s a bad lag to it. I would honestly prefer a physical dial or button, but this is like a “touch sensor”. You tap it to cycle through Low, Medium, and High. But there’s like a 5 second lag for it to catch up to what you did. Overall, fine product, but I just wanted to give people a heads up. Read more

Love the Honeywell HEPA towers. Bought them based on their good rating in a national rating magazine and have not been disappointed. Have this particular one in our bedroom, but I have a Honeywell tower of one size or another in literally every room of the apartment as all the kids and I have seasonal allergies (and the kids are also allergic to the cat). My allergies are sooo much better after I went hardcore and put in all the towers and was more vigilant about keeping them constantly running. I am not sure if the improved allergy situation is because of the Honeywell towers, but it is hard to imagine it is a coincidence as it has been a bad allergy season. As for the towers themselves, the quality of the plastic is adequate, but I am picky and in truth it is fine for the price. The displays are classy-looking. I don't have any problem changing the filters though it can be a bit fiddly with the outer ones and the carbon fiber does shed some. Also it is annoying having to cut the right size yourself, I always get it a little wrong. The controls are intuitive and I don't mind the "white noise" effect. I like that you can turn off the blue light showing the setting if you want. Read more

My last Honeywell died after many years, decided to go with tower style. Love how I can put in corner, easy to move here and there! Blue light is fine, noise on turbo is ...well...turbo...but white noise. PERFECT!! Read more
