This is a very unique heater because unlike its digital counterparts, you will not be limited to a pre-determined and locked range of temperatures that are not always desirable and start at fairly higher temp. ranges. Instead, you can set this to operate at any temperature that suits your needs and that includes very low temperature ranges. For instance if you want to keep an area above freezing at let's day 3 above Celsius and not have it run and run to waste electricity, you can easily do so. The operation and setting of the thermostat is not documented correctly in the manual but it is very simple: (1) Plug the unit with power knob in off position in the area you want to use it and leave it there for sometime specially if you have moved it from an environment with a different temperature. This allows the unit to adjust to surrounding temperatures and in my experience results in better reading by the sensors. (2) Now set the heater's power knob to either medium (900W) or high (1500W). (3) Then turn the temperature control knob all the way up clockwise to the highest stop. Once the area reaches the desired temperature which you can measure via an external thermometer (minimally 1 or 2 degree above what you've started with) slowly turn the knob anti clock wise until you feel and hear a click. This is the reference point that marks the current temperature. If you don't hear a click when turning the knob anti clockwise and it reaches its minimum point, you haven't given enough time for the heater to raise the ambient temperature compared to when it was plugged in. Again a minimum 1 or 2 degree change is required to trigger the click point. (4) At this point you have 2 choices: (1) Rotate the temperature control dial below the click point that would turn the unit off and on and maintain the temperature at the click point reference or you can rotate the dial clockwise passed the click point to maintain the temperature at a few degrees above the current temperature. Hopefully this clears up the terrible documentation of operation in the manual. Furthermore, the excellent heat output, the less electric intensive mode at 900W, cooling parts that do not stay super hot, silent operation and above all the safety mode that shuts the unit off if it tips over are all what you expect from a top of the line unit. A future digital variant of this heater that would allow heating operation that starts from freezing point instead of 60F and up would be great. For now, this manual one is the only one that has this feature. Read more

I love this heater! I bought it for my job’s pumping/Mother’s room because the temp is in the 60’s and I love everything about it. It is relatively compact and quiet, but perhaps the best feature is the thermostat/temp control. Most heaters have a low/med/high setting but this one automatically shuts off based on a relative temperature. I love this because I don’t have to toggle the heater off and on repeatedly, but can just find an ideal temp, leave it at that setting, and then just turn it on whenever I want to use it. It warms extremely quickly. The room I’m in is small (~10ft x 8ft), but I think it could also work very well in a standard bedroom or if you just wanted a heater pointed at you in a larger room. I truly do love this heater and would buy another one if I needed a room extra warm in my house or something. Read more

Perfect heater for under my office desk, its at an angle that directs the heat toward my knees unlike the other ones that point at a straight angle. Read more

Have been using for a couple weeks now. All and all great heater for the size and price. Thermostat dial works great, heater clicks on and off once it hits a general temperature set. I like how easy/straightforward it is, not a bunch of buttons/precise settings etc. And it’s truly easy to move around, the handle is great. It’s super quiet, and while not the most premium materials it’s of sturdy construction and seems like it will last. My only complaint is that although there is a dial for a high and low fan setting, there is no discernible change when selecting one verses the other. No click heard or any change in output of warm air higher or lower—just a consistent fan speed or off. Not sure if others have encountered this or if mine is just faulty. Read more

⚠️ I got this on March 2024. It is now Jan 2025. I only used this during March, April, October and November. Less than 4 months of useage and it broke. I tried their “trouble shooting suggestions” and nothing. I have been trying to call their customer service line for over a month. They are only open during my work hours and the wait/hold time is longer than my lunch hour. I have contacted Amazon support for help and they have and another number to call and that number was an invalid number. I have submitted a request for help with a link Amazon support provided me. I am waiting for a response. This product is great… **BUT** is you get a faulty heater like a did, expect to be re-directed multiple times with no solution. Expect to be on hold with no one ever answering. Expect to be frustrated with the time you spent trying to get help. Buy ⚠️ at your own risk. I ended up buying another heater, different brand, with good customer service reviews. I am also disappointed with round-about “support” I got from Amazon itself. Read more
