Pros: easy to assemble. The directions are particularly good considering no words were used other than “attention!” The table may look symmetrical but not all of the screw holes are so 5 stars alone for the instructions which made it clear how to orient the various pieces. Nothing is worse than realizing three steps in that you need to turn a part around. Also it is sturdy. Cons: the only con I can think of is that the long shelves are split in half rather than being one long shelf. This detracts from the look of the piece. If you are planning on putting this next to a fancy piece furniture you may need to put some lace over the shelf. This works perfectly for me. It's narrow but you can still put magazines & decor on it & it doesn't get in the way. I have a very small entry way & we have no trouble moving through with ease. Ever since I have lived in an apartment in New York City (30 years), I have purchased a lot of furniture that has had to be assembled and also required easy delivery. I must say that this was the best piece I’ve ever gotten in every respect. It arrived very well-packaged, with pieces clearly labeled for ease of assembly. Assembly was quick and easy. Plus the directions were very simple to follow with clear pictures and phenomenally written. I cannot imagine anybody having a problem putting this together. Furthermore, each piece is light and easy to handle, so until it comes together into a substantial table, assembly and construction was entirely manageable. The icing on this cake is that it looks phenomenal. It is very sturdy and the measurements were exactly what I was looking for for my front entryway. The upper and lower shelf also makes it very useful and handy for storing multiple items. I could not have asked for more. So, I have three of these…I have an awkward wall in my upstairs hallway that needed to be used. I wanted a table that was not very deep, but thin and long to fit exact area. I bought two of these tables, put them together and lined them up side by side and they formed the PERFECT NARROW CONSOLE table for the space. They are situated under my daughter’s portraits and have picture frames and buffet lamps in them. I was ecstatic! The 3rd table sits in front of a sunny window and my house plants perch on top of it. I love the wood and “iron” industrial/minimalist look. You do have to put them together, but they are super easy. I’d buy those again and again, every time. So functional! Read more
