Workhorse table! Slightly frustrating assembly.
This was a little frustrating to put together but it was worth it! Not difficult, but frustrating. Assembly took 45 minutes, 2 Diet Cokes, and I almost picked a fight with someone for no reason. I have other tables from this brand at home which required no tools and assembly was extremely simple. I should not have compared those table to the assembly of the others. Reasons for frustration included some U-shaped pieces being slightly bent at the weld points, and having to tighten screws in areas where my hand couldn’t rotate freely. I also had to tighten the screws of the hinge pieces after assembly which required a Philips screwdriver from my own collection. None of this affected the stability or overall quality of the table. Just added more time to the install as I worked to align things better and change hand grips often. That being said: This little table is a workhorse and has been so handy! It’s pretty compact/narrow when folded up, so it butts up next to the arm of the couch or in the space between the side of the couch and the wall. When unfolded, it holds the largest serving tray we have - about 3 dinner plates wide. I wouldn’t overload the top with the leaves unfolded, however. It’s strong but the overall capacity of the table is not for holding large amounts of weight. I’d say whatever you’re having to eat would be fine. The dark wood and matte black metal doesn’t show dust or dirt, and fits into almost any decor. It has adjustable feet on the bottom which can be raised or lowered if necessary to account for uneven flooring. I removed them entirely so the bottom of the table slides under our couch. Our couch has almost no space under it, I was happy to be able to slide the table under! This was a good find and a good value for the asking price. It serves multiple purposes around the house. A must have.
I looked at these cute tables for quite a while and finally saw what I wanted with the sections that folded out to create a larger surface. I was worried that maybe they wouldn’t look right with the decor we had going on in our guest bedroom. I needed two bedside tables and took a chance buying these. They made the room! They are the fun feature. A little quirky but not to much. Cute as can be too. I know that should I move again I can use these tables in just about any room in my house. They are sturdy and good quality and so stinking easy to assemble. Just screw the legs on. What a bargain for something that brings a little life to a room. Read more
