Love this vacuum so much I bought a second one for the finished basement although it is lightweight enough to carry up and down stairs. NO CORD, so cordless design makes it a breeze to use - so lightweight it just glides across the floor in your hand. Vacuum has two levels of suction - one for flooring and the other for carpet. Powerful enough to clean up any mess. The not in use it stands on it's own in a corner, out of the way. Not bulky or awkward - the perfect size!! Hoover quality stands out in this product - would buy it again - oops - I already did!!!! Read more

This is a great little vacuum cleaner! I highly recommend it. It works so well; it actually makes vacuuming more enjoyable and feel less like a chore. It's very light and maneuverable and has great suction on any/all surfaces. And is very simple to quickly break down to clean it (I use my shop vac for that). The only complaint I have, is the battery life of the 4ah battery supplied, it's not bad when cleaning hardwood floors, but when you turn it up for cleaning carpet, it quickly runs out of juice. But on the plus side, the battery is removable, so if you have a second battery (I have an 8ah battery on order), you can have one on the charger ready to go, while you are using the one in the vacuum. Overall, I feel the performance and simplicity of this vacuum, justifies the price tag of both the vacuum and the extra battery. Read more

I wanted a sweeper that I could use to clean the tops of my cabinets and that would work as my household sweeper without scaring my cat. I have one cat that is petrified of the sweeper we originally were using. Results of first two uses: 1. The attachments actually attach without me having to look all over the house for the last place I used them. There is even a wall mount included. 2. The floor sweeper works on carpet and uncarpeted areas AND best of all it reaches under couches and beds without hitting the underside. 3. The extensions help to get under many lower profile furniture items like dressers and shelving. 4. This sweeper is SO LIGHT, you can lift it climbing a ladder or over furniture. 5. It has different settings of suction power that help control noise. The first time I used it, the cat who was petrified of the other sweeper actually came out and cautiously followed this sweeper! 6. It has a light on the floor sweeper so you can see if you've gotten your messes such as pet hair or crumbs up in darker areas of your home. 7. There is no spinning attachment for furniture; however, I have found the bristled attachment that does not spin just as effective as getting pet hair off furniture as the spinning kind we had before. It does take a little more effort, but not much. The ONLY reason I gave this four stars is because the battery needs charging so quickly. After using the sweeper in three rooms (including pet beds and a chair), it needs charging. I plan to check on getting another battery. Read more

Functionally, this was a great vacuum. It's quiet, picks everything up easily. I love the buttons that allow you to increase and decrease the power/suction level while using it. I like how light it is and it's really a quick grab and go to clean a room quickly. The huge problem is the battery stopped working after a couple of weeks. I tried moving the charger to different outlets, bought a new charger, nothing worked. I bought a replacement battery and that does charge on both charges. So, the battery that this came with worked about 3 or 4 times. For that reason, I can't recommend this product. Read more

This is my second Hoover wind tunnel. The last one was only 5 years old, but the dirt cup broke in a way one has to be extra careful when emptying. Basically the dirt cup is fine. I would just have had to make sure I was over the trash to empty it. I'll give away my old one which is still a very good vacuum. I got a second one because I like the vacuum so much. It is powerful. I'm 71 and have always cleaned my own house. The carpet I vacuum each week is probably about 1200 sq. feet (rest of house is tile). I empty the cup each time just out of habit. It has an overheat protection on it. If you vacuum up a shoe lace or part of a blanket, it may stop. It is not broken. Just let it sit for 30 minutes and it will work just fine once again. I've done that with the previous vacuum about 5 times. Once it was because I taped a straw to the tube to vacuum the dust from a water distiller fan area. That overheated the vacuum and it stopped. Worked fine again after letting it cool off. I sweep the tile floor into a pile of dirt. When I come around to it when vacuuming it is very easy to disconnect the hose and vacuum up the floor dirt. Click out, click back in. In fact, I bought a Hoover wind tunnel for my meditation center book store. When you find a good vacuum, you stay with it. Read more

Great suction, but be prepared, as even on low setting, it pulls thin rugs right off of the floor. Eats them like a little Eagle bird eats fish. I still would Highly recommend this vacuum. It suuuucks!! Floor and the rugs it doesn't accordion look great. It does a good job with sand and dog hair. The stair tool and the duster tool are amazing, and it floofs the stairs up very nicely as it vacuums them. The duster has soft bristles making it great for really dusty items and small debris. the crevice tool is very good, although I wish it narrowed down more at the tip. The extender crinkly hose is GREAT I LOVE this accessory, because it makes maneuverability so much better when using the attachments. The detachable batteries are FANTASTIC and so far, I haven't needed to run both down even in a 2100 sq ft. cleaning area. The battery is very easy ti change out and the vacuum itself is very well balanced for a stick vacuum. Read more

Grew up in a house with a Hoover upright. We used it for over 20 years. I put my new Hoover to the test on the very first day. I charged the battery and used it for as long as I needed to, and it still had charging power when I was finished. I have mostly hardwood floors and it tackled them beautifully and with ease. You can’t go wrong with a Hoover! Read more
