I’m going to be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this vacuum cleaner. We’ve been let down before with cleaners that say they can get the hairs, but we were pleasantly surprised with this one. First off, the vacuum has a pretty manageable weight. I was able to pick this up often when vacuuming the steps without my arm feeling tired from the weight. The setup on this was quick and easy, though we had one accessory that would not stop slipping off the holder (that might be user error). I first used this on carpet we thought was pretty clean and WOW, it got much more dirt and hairs than any of our other vacuums. I loved that I didn’t have to clean the roller like I usually do, our long hairs didn’t get stuck on it. I haven’t used all the accessories but that turbo tool helped me get the job done on my stairs. This was super easy to empty out as well when it got full. So far, it seems like a great quality vacuum but we’ve only had it for a few weeks. So only time will tell if it can keep up the same performance and not break down too quickly (will update should anything change). Read more

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this vacuum since at the time of order I only saw 3 reviews, 2 postive reviews that I didn’t feel I could trust since they were not labeled “” and 1 negative review that actually was a . Anyway, it arrived quickly, hubby took 5 minutes to put it together and we put it to the test in our house of 5 dogs! On our rooms with wall to wall carpeting it did great, it even left satisfying vacuum lines in my carpet and since I live in a very dry climate we don’t see carpet lines very often, lol. The suction felt great and it did pick up fur on what I thought was a clean carpet. Then we tried it in our breakfast room on my 8x10 washable rug that is laid over tile, always a challenge since washable rugs are notoriously hard to vacuum with even the smallest vacuum wanting to suck them up causing impossible drag, well, this one did a wonderful job and the rug got the best cleaning it has had in a while and if you kept moving it did not attempt to suck the rug itself up! The final test was another of my washable rugs but this one lays on top of carpet. It did a good job but I had to be careful or it did want to suck up the edges of the rug and if there were any ripples (as happens with a washable rug over carpet) it really wanted to eat the rug, but it did a decent job if I worked quickly. There are great attachments to this vacuum, but not space to have them all on the vacuum itself so you will have to store them somewhere handy. The design is a bit different than traditional vacuums a little less wide, but that with the swivel factor makes maneuvering easy. The canister lifts off easily and is quite easy to empty. The noise level was average, it didn’t seem to bother the dogs so that was nice and the cord was a very good length. Weight wise it wasn’t super light but not heavy either, I am a petite senior and had no trouble with it. Overall I was really pleased with this vacuum and would recommend it. Read more

I think this is a great vacuum! I love the versatility of it to be able to turn the roller off and on so you can do both carpet and wood/vinyl flooring. It’s amazing on rugs that typically get sucked up but I can turn the roller off and it will pick up lots of dirt and debris. I also have a bissell but this vacuum sucks up dog hair SO MUCH BETTER, I don’t know if it’s the roller brush or just more power but I find myself using this one over the other most of the time. Really the main downsides I’ve noticed are that it is pretty heavy and doesn’t maneuver as easily as my other vacuums. The attachments that extend also don’t stay locked very well while using them. I also usually have the luxury of pressing a button and the cord will retract automatically where this one I have to manually wrap up but still I think this one cleans my floors so much better. The brand pretty much says it all, this is nice overall quality and well made vacuum cleaner, the vacuum was very easy to assemble and love that it not only comes with a few different attachments, but it also has storage holder for all the attachments that sits the handle of the vacuum, so it is quick and easy to swap out the attachments, this vacuum also has strong suction power to is as well, the vacuum has no problem at all vacuuming up pet hair, decent sized piece of pet treats and other debris out of the carpet, but the one feature I really like is that the roller bush stays clean without any of the hair or strands of carpet getting wrap around the roller brush, the dust collection ben holds a good amount of pet hair and debris, and it is very easy to take it off the vacuum to empty it, all in all I am definitely happy with the overall quality and performance of this Hover, well worth the price in my opinion.
