These athletic gym shorts have quickly become one of my favorites for workouts and casual wear. The fabric feels lightweight and breathable, which makes them perfect for running, lifting, or just moving around on a warm day. The mesh material lets air flow well, and I like that they dry quickly after a sweaty session. The black color looks clean and pairs easily with most gym tops. One of the features I appreciate is the pockets. They are roomy enough to hold my phone, keys, or small items while I’m on the go, and they don’t feel bulky or get in the way when I’m active. The waistband has a comfortable stretch and stays secure without feeling too tight. These shorts also hit at a good length on my legs, giving me freedom to move without feeling restricted. There are a couple of small things to keep in mind. The material is thin, so they are not the warmest option for chilly weather but great for summer or indoor workouts. The fit around the legs is relaxed and a little wider than I expected, which may not be ideal if you prefer a more fitted style. These are very lightweight shorts that are, in fact, quite comfortable to wear. They almost feel like you are not wearing them. They will keep you cool while exercising, playing sports, or during any other activity. The fabric is also nice and soft, and the seams and stitching are good. However, these comfort and cooling benefits come at a cost in other areas. The main issue that I have with them is that they are super thin, thin enough to see through (see my attached image), so you will need to be wearing matching underwear, or people will be able to tell what color your undies are through the thin fabric. They fit well and are spot-on for the size they are listed as, so you can order your usual size, and these should work out fine in that regard. I will warn you that the elastic waistband is very weak, so they will always need to be tied, or they will slip down. I would say that if you want some super lightweight shorts and can deal with them being very see-through and you will be trying them 100% of the time, then these might be a good choice. It comes down to what you want. For me, I want my clothes to be light, breathable, and durable. I’m not big on the brand name after years of the typical Nike, Adidas, other stuff we have in our closets. The branded stuff is all made with the same materials and patterns as the no name stuff. This black pair of shorts is absolutely the same length as most of my other gym gear, above the knee but not Daisy dukes or old skool nba shorts. The material is thin with and elastic waist band and drawstring to tighten. The two side pockets are made of the same material as the shorts, not some holed liner. And for those who want a liner, this doesn’t come with one which is what I like. I don’t like liners on gym shorts or swim shorts. Has good stretch and it dries fast being 100% polyester synthetic. These shorts look great on my husband and he really likes them. They feel like most all of his other shorts and seem durable. He's happy they have pockets and dry quickly. We really like that they fit just above the knee not down below like basketball shorts. It can be hard to find shorts for him that aren't too long.
