I've been using these long-lasting adhesive hooks in my kitchen and bathroom for years. We have extremely hard water, but even though the adhesive is still going strong, the plastic backing gets discolored from minerals in the water, so I replace the ones I can't get clean. It's much harder to take off the old ones than to put on the new. These stick really well, and support more than you can imagine. When you install them, be sure to press on them firmly, then wait at least 12 hours before getting them wet or putting any pressure on them. I bought these shower caddy adhesives to replace some that failed to stick to my shower wall (cue crashing sounds). This product arrived undamaged to my house and was ready for immediate use. The hooks came as singles, doubles, or triples, although with a pair of scissors, you can make any of them a single hook. I had planned to stick the hooks to the wall and wait for 24 hours for the adhesive to cure, but ended up having to attach the caddy immediately. (Basically, it’s a shelf and when attached with 2 hooks under, it falls, but if I put a 3rd hook on top, it stabilizes. But the whole shelf has to be stuck on at once). The adhesive was plenty sticky, although I did have to peel the hooks off to reposition. I was impressed that my caddy stayed on the wall (and has been there for a few weeks now). The caddy feels much more sturdy and has given my kids the storage capacity they need in their shower. I have a lot of hooks left and feel they are versatile enough to use in other parts of the house where a small hook is needed. But it would have to be a permanent thing; I feel these won’t remove easily. The 14 Pack Shower Caddy Adhesive Replacement Hooks from HOREAKHJ is a set of 14 different hook assemblies designed to reattach shower caddies to the wall. They are quite useful for other applications as well. They adhere well in damp environments and hold quite a bit of weight without complaint. I'm using them to hold up some Edison lights in my screened in porch. I've tried other adhesive hooks and they always eventually fail. These look like they should last for years to come. Each hook is a double hook which adds to the stability. The set comes with 4 strips with three hooks, 4 strips with two hooks, and 6 stirps with one hook. The adhesive side of the hooks is covered in plastic, not paper. The plastic backing removes easily unlike paper backing which is occasionally impossible to remove gracefully. If you have shelves that use these hooks, you know what a great find this set is. It's a relief, actually, to not have to toss those shower shelves when the little plastic hooks eventually break down and fall apart. There is a great assortment of sizes in this set of adhesive hooks. The shelves I have take the ones that have three sets of hooks. These are NOT easy to remove from the shower wall after the hooks break off. But that's what makes them work so well in the first place. After these are situated, I know they'll be in place for a couple of years at least. I don't mind replacing these because of just how useful they are. If they could just make the plastic hooks last longer, these would be perfect! The adhesive FAR outlasts the hooks, unfortunately. But it is what it is. Still love these. Read more

I am sure these work great and are very sturdy for the job they are implied for. When looking at the picture I thought it came with the shelves, but it does not. The tricky part, or so I thought, was to find a shelf that will fit this exact adhesive replacement. Thankfully, most shower shelves are fairly universal in shape. I found something that worked and the shelf has stayed up for 10 shower uses. I appreciate that it is clear so it easily camouflages with the shower. I would purchase again. Very sturdy and strong.
