Don’t let the marketing fool you, these knives are 100% Chinese. 10Cr15CoMoV is quality Chinese knife steel, and similar to Japanese VG-10 steel, but not Japanese. They look nice, hopefully made with 10Cr15CoMoV steel, are an excellent value if they truly are made with that steel. But any reference to Japan is just misleading marketing. Read more

Absolutely love this knife set. Most knife sets are like golf clubs.. the sets always have some that you never use. Thus, why pay for them? This knife has all that is needed... but, more importantly, they are EXTREMELY sharp. Right out of the box they were cutting magnificently. I'm actually hesitant when I use them due to the sharpness.
