HotStyle 936Plus Aesthetic Casual Daypack Multipurpose Backpack Medium Size 16 Litres

I am blown away by the quality of this backpack. I have had it now for 3 years as I bought it back in 2017, when the Hot Style logo was still on the front pocket. It seems they have removed that logo since. The bag has no external rips (other than holes I poked for pins), smooth zipper teeth, and very little wear and tear for its age. All of the original supper pull tabs have fallen off, but it's whatever to me. A zipper is a zipper. One of the zippers did break off as well from me trying to force it closed when it was overfilled so it was my fault, but the others have held up just fine. I used this backpack for 2 consecutive years as my primary school bag, but it's retired now to more of a travel bag as I wanted a smaller one for school. I have worn this bag in rain, shine, and hail, thrown it in dirt, tossed it across the room by accident, and shoved 15 lbs of textbooks in it at one time. The only time I had an issue was in heavy rain. The top part of the bag is water resistant, though in a down pour water will begin to seep through a little bit. The bottom, however, is not that water resistant and if you have it in a super wet spot, water will get in. Not enough to ruin notebooks, but enough to cause a bit of water damage to them. I wouldn't consider this enough to take off a star but it's something to be aware of. Remember, it's water resistant not waterproof. The storage of this backpack is absolutely giant. As aforementioned, I have shoved 15 lbs of textbooks in here, which is on average 3-4 textbooks. Despite that I still had room for some notebooks, a pencil case, and a novel. The straps are nicely padded so bringing the textbooks home obviously put strain on my back from the weight, but the straps didn't dig into my shoulders. The laptop pocket is also nicely padded and all of my tech that's been haphazardly thrown in there has never been hurt from the other things in my bag. Also, only one of the 3 mesh pouches has torn! I'm usually awful at keeping mesh things nice, but these have held up extremely well. The only reason the one inside water bottle pouch broke was because I shoved an umbrella in there. So kudos to them for making a mesh I couldn't easily break! Tl;dr This backpack is amazingly durable. While it can let some water in with a heavy downfall (water resistant, not water proof), it holds up to pretty much anything you throw at it! After 3 years, it's going as strong as day 1. Read more

Great backpack at an amazing price. Plenty of zippers and compartments for storage of various school items; pens pencils post it’s flash cards etc etc. Fantastic amount of space in the backpack, I’m able to carry all my material for two classes, and it’s not heavy or bulky whatsoever. The only thing I think that deserves improvement is the front zipper pouch, which is pretty small and the flap above the zipper itself makes it rather hard to pack things in without fiddling a bit. Overall, this is probably the best backpack I’ve ever owned; it’s light, durable, has a great look, and is very efficient and at such an amazing price. I bought this back pack during summer for my Fall Semester this college. I am still using it till this day! Looks good as new! I have to say, out of all the backpacks I have ever owned, this one takes the price on the best! It is an extremely comfortable and good looking bag, plenty of pockets for small notebooks or notes and pencils, a laptop fits perfectly in the back and it also has inside water pockets to put bottles in. It has survived heavy weather such as rain AND snow, and it still looks new and protects everything perfectly. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and I hope to buy another one as soon as I can. This backpack has a lot of space, so definitely if you are like me and carry a lot of things everyday, this would work as a charm. You get a lot of compartments in and out of the backpack. The thing that I like the most is the laptop sleeve; so when you pack up your stuff, you will not mix things like books or food with your laptop as they will be separated by its many compartments. The one thing that I'm not very pleased about is the quality of the zippers, particularly the leather thing attached to it, it is very fragile and so far in the 30 days that I've been with this backpack, two of them have already fell off. Other than that, the backpack is good and you will be able to carry a lot of stuff with a very cool design and excelent price. Certainly way better than other comercial brands out there. Read more

Yes it has a lot of pockets!! Even a hidden pocket on the outside right behind your back. I have a iPhone plus and it fits perfectly in there. Great for traveling and very durable too!! It was way worth my $48. I'm so glad it has sooooo many pockets inside where I can fit all of my items for school and art supplies. They have really out done it this time. It's simple on the outside but perfect on the inside. One down is that the water bottle pockets are too small but they can fit travel size shampoo, hairspray, toothbrush, to go co tactical lense solution bottles and many more. I even use it as a traveling backpack. Plus the straps are very comfy. I'm done with school and my sister wants my backpack, but I can't let go of it. It's super handy. Read more

This is a great backpack for organization. It has many pockets on the inside that keep it from becoming cluttered. I have yet to find any problems with this backpack so far (I've been using it for a month). It is a good price for the quality of the backpack. I prefer this backpack over my Jansport backpack because of its many pockets. At first I doubted that the straps could handle the weight of my books, but I haven't had any problems yet and they are fairly comfortable. I also enjoy having an extra pocket on the outside of the backpack behind the straps which can easily store my phone or keys. The color of the bag appears the same as the picture, I purchased the bag in grey. Read more
