portable CD player for your car.... It's light weight and smaller than most I have looked at. I bought it to play my CDs (yes, I still have and purchase CDs) to play in my new car that NO longer installed in your car! (its a 2025 Lexus -with a fancy Mark Levenson stereo and you cannot even 'order' a Lexus with a CD player in it now. Grrrrr) Anyway, don't get me started. I recommend purchasing (the one cord it doesn't come with) a headphone with USB tip and plug it into your car with USB and use the 'headphone" tip into the CD player. That makes is ALMOST plug and play. Probably because of my car, the USB (car to the C tip into the player) didn't work. But using the USB into the headphone of the player did. As I mentioned, a separate purchase. It skips a little here or there, but honestly I think it may be the CD I was listening to. I do have to run through a few hoops to have my car recognize the player, but it eventually works. The player is rechargeable and says it will play up to 6 hours. I have noticed that it seems to be charging even when I use the headphone plug in (on the player) and USB into the car... so I've never run out of power, but in all honesty, I've not chosen to listen to it for more than an hour or so. I've gone through 2, this is the 3rd CD player before I found one to work. Also, this player is bluetooth, and works that way too, but it was less reliable and I was struggling after each time it was turned off, trying to reconnect the car and player. Right now I feel like this one is the winner. Not perfect, but it works... mostly. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a phenomenal portable cd player. The sound is amazing for it's size. The speakers are excellent. There's 4 of them if you can believe that. I can easily take it from "room to room" as it's light weight is a big bonus. Have had zero problems with skipping. A couple of cons but really not that big a deal. You just need to know them ahead of time and all will be well. First, the print size of the user manual is incredibly small. Difficult to read without a magnifying glass. Second, and last, the player is very difficult to get open until you figure out why. When you try to open it it will feel like you're going to break it. Stop. You will if you continue. Took me 2 tries to discover there is a bar on the side to slide that allows the player to open very easy so you can insert a disk. I looked, for a long time, at other cd players on Prime that just didn't feel like what I was wanting til I found this little domino. I'm glad I waited. Big, BIG, bonus. I got this on "prime days" for half price. Score all the way around. Shhh, don't tell anyone but I would have been happy with it at full price. Read more

I teach breathwork and meditation classes, and soon yoga. I have a studio with speakers, but it can only do auxiliary and Bluetooth, meaning I need to have music on my phone. While Spotify works a good deal of the time, I have some CDs I have collected over the years, and some are better than what I can find digitally. The auxiliary output has allowed me to connect to the speaker system and play my CD. I needed this!!! It works great. When I first pulled it out of the package, it was a blast of nostalgia from a day long gone, where I would listen to CDs while traveling on the bus. It's lightweight, functional, and easy to use. It comes with some headphones and an auxiliary cord. Gotta love modern technology too, as I can simply charge this with a USB-C cord (included). No batteries needed. I also am really loving the feature of speakers. So if nothing is hooked up, I can listen. It's not super loud. It's more of a nice ambiance and something to hear when you are near the CD player. This is a poor excuse for a cd player. The sound from the speakers is awful. The earphones add just a minimal quality to the sound. After a minute of listening, I got a headache. It’s going back! Read more
