Best china storage I've seen to date. It is sturdy, compact and well made. It's a snap to assemble (less than 1 minute!), holds dinnerware securely and is reasonably priced. As stated by others, the dimensions given are outside dimensions but unlike others, I have found them to hold the type of dinnerware they were designed to hold. The saucer box will accommodate both saucers and bread and butter plates; the dessert/salad box will hold salads, desserts and rim or coup soup bowls; the cup storage box holds large tea cups but for demitasse cups, I would recommend adding a little bubble wrap to cradle these cups so they don't shift about. Another positive aspect of this product is that they are sold individually. You get exactly what you need and not something that happened to be included in a set but that you really don't need. These storage boxes are very sturdy and great protection for my aunt's favorite set of dishes that I inherited after she died. They have strong fabric handles on both sides. Very attractive, too. They will hold much more than 12 saucers, though. I would guess maybe 20. Not sure why they made these boxes so tall. My dessert plates would also fit in this box perfectly (they are 6 1/4"). There are only enough felt dividers, though, for 12 plates. It would have been a bit more useful for my purpose if the boxes had a wipe-clean exterior instead of cloth since I will be storing these in the basement. I knew this before I bought them, but others I had seen with plastic exteriors did not seem to be as good quality as these, so I opted for quality. I will probably purchase a large plastic bin to store the boxes in. Overall I am very happy with these containers, and I feel they were a good purchase. I definitely would recommend them. Read more

This is a great solution for those with multiple sets of china or dinnerware, and/or no space for a china closet. The foam inserts are sturdy and I love that I can view my china without opening the lid. This is a high quality product that holds more than saucers than I expected. It looks pretty in my storage closet. The lid closes great and I like that I see the plates through the side window. The box does a slight odor that I hope goes away over time. Read more

The size stated on the listing for the Saucer Plates is apparently not accurate. I ordered two of the Saucer storage boxes and the actual INSIDE dimensions are: 6 7/8" square x 7 1/2" high (without the lid) This is not a problem for me, but may be for someone else. The actual INSIDE dimensions of the Salad Plate boxes are: 8 7/8" square x 7 7/8" high (without the lid) The actual INSIDE dimensions for the Dinner Plate boxes are: 11 3/4" square by 8 3/8" high (without the lid) The boxes are sturdy and seem to be made well. I think they are very nice. I have VERY heavy glass plates and they can handle the weight. I'm happy with this purchase. Read more
