I bought the 1 carat, sterling silver version of these earrings. (I wish I could afford platinum) They are beautiful!! The diamonds are very sparkly, not too heavy at all, very clean diamonds and the silver is polished nicely. The clasp seems strong enough. I slept in them last night and they didn't come out. I read where someone bought these and found out they were not real lab grown diamonds but moissanite. I took them down to my jeweler and they confirmed that they all were indeed lab grown diamonds. And, bonus, I received these in less than 12 hours! Impressive. Would definitely buy from this company again. EDIT: After only 5 days of wearing them and sleeping in them, I went to the store, came home and my right one was gone. The clasp isn't nearly strong enough. I decided to buy all of my fine jewelry from Houston Diamond District, after buying my dream ring from them recently. I decided I wanted to try their earrings, and saw these beauties. They are small while not being too small like many huggies - really a perfect size, in my opinion. Though most earrings are rather uncomfortable for me, these fit so perfectly and are so perfectly balanced, I completely forget I'm wearing them. The setting is VERY secure, and the gold is substantial - I can't even imagine accidentally breaking or losing one of these earrings. I chose the two-carat size in yellow gold, and it has lots of fire without looking tacky. I received them the very next day via FedEx, and now plan to use them as my daily earrings due to their comfort (and beauty). As with my ring, I also received an appraisal for insurance purposes.
