So this was a Christmas gift for my 8 year old son. Needless to say his Christmas was ruined because of this junk. The first one we received was missing the charger, in addition to the took and owners manual. The box it came in looked like it was covered in blood and looked like it was a return.. The place where the remote is stowed was broken and dangling from the handlebars. Against my better judgement, I returned it and requested a replacement. The new one showed up on Dec 27, and I had high hopes as the box looked new. Nope, the scooter will not power on and the remote shows no battery charge. To say I am upset is an understatement. We are very disappointed in this product. We bought this as a birthday present for my 7 year-old son. He absolutely loved it. However, just like another reviewer wrote, the back left wheel that is attached to the motor broke after just 2 months of buying it. There are 3 socket cap screws that attach the wheel to the skateboard. They kept coming loose and I'd have to tighten them every 2 days. They are not easy to tighten as they're in an awkward spot. Then one day, as my son was riding, all three screws broke in half. The top of the screw broke off leaving the bottom stuck inside so I can't even replace the screws. And I will confirm that it's not just a faulty product. We ended up buying a second one for our 5 year-old once we could see she was capable of riding it safely. (Before the first one broke.) The same thing is happening to hers with the loose screws constantly. Both kids are under 50 lbs, well below the 132 max weight it supposedly holds. They rode them a lot, but certainly didn't put a ton of pressure on the wheels. It's unfortunate this product is so poorly made, as my kids really enjoyed using it. Read more

The beeping is annoying and the pairing is a little tricky or confusing but some how I got it working as a skateboard and a scooter. The acces to the on/off is on the bottom for the platform or skateboard. I’m not sure how often the remote needs charging so I’ve been charging it when charging the main unit. Easy to operate and change from board to scooter. I am concerned about it’s sturdiness but time will tell. Some sort of light or reflectivity in the board mode would be nice but easy enough to work around. I’m glad there’s electric breaking in both modes. Pulling back on the remote works in the board mode. It’s a little heavy to stop it like a traditional skateboard and I’d be worried about it getting wrecked that way. I'd like to start with a great concept and product. Lots of enjoyment to be had... Kids ride it up and down the sidewalk and on roads (safely). With all the bumps they go through the locking pin for the steering column failed and in this case, broke. Luckily my kids weren't going too fast when the handlebar readjusted itself on its own to a lower setting. If there is anyway I would like to replace the item or the part in question. So sad. This looked so cool and I tried to keep an open mind about the reviews I read but when i received the item I followed the instructions but the scooter wouldn't turn on (no beep when i pressed the button on the bottom of the skate board part) I plugged it in to charge but the charger light stayed green indicating it's fully charged. I let it charge for over an hour and still no beep. I submitted for an exchange and the second scooter looked used and was missing the charger in the box. I paid for a new one even though I saw a used option for cheaper. I had to return all together unfortunately. I also tried to call customer support but they kept routing me to the website. Read more
