This gets four stars as opposed to the usual five that I would normally give, simply because of this thing called S Mode. It's apparently some sort of security device that disallows any downloads but from the Microsoft store. If, like me, most of the apps you use are from anywhere BUT the Microsoft store, then this nice, shiny new PC is rendered absolutely useless. However, there is a fix and you just have to know how to switch off the S Mode. I had no idea and all the online tips I followed weren't of any help at all. It's all in the blue Start button... I called HP and for the hefty price of $55 extra, I got the thing sorted. I got $100 off so I suppose I'm still to the good but now I'm off and running and the pc performs as I expect every HP to perform. Just beware of the S Mode. You can buy a standard fare number but if you can switch off the offending S Mode, you'll be fine. Read more
