HUEGLO Right Shoulder Brace for Men Torn Rotator Cuff Support Women Shoulder Stabilizer Brace for Shoulder Pain Relief

I'm quite new to this shoulder brace/support thing. Over the past year or so, I've experienced a variety of pains in my right shoulder. After having an MRI, it was discovered that I no longer have a rotator cutt (apparently it tore a long ago and I never realized it). I'm 75 and I still workout regularly at a local gym 4 times a week with weight training. I'm a retired Marine (26 years of active service dating back to Vietnam), and that "go get 'em" mentality still grips my psyche, so I don't let up with my workouts. I'm sure that mindset caused my injury. Because of the pressure this puts on my right arm, it is essential that a good shoulder brace be used when doing any types of physical work or going to a gym. The fit of this particular Hueglo brace is superb (although I do wish it came in sizes). The fit on the shoulder is just right and much more comfortable than some of the other braces I've tried in the past. Now let me tell you right off the bat that the 2 velcro straps for the arm area of the shoulder unit, are a tad too short. I weigh only 180 pounds and am 5'8" tall, but I do have somewhat muscular arms. I have to stretch the velcro strips for the arm quite a bit in order for them to make sufficient contact with the rest of the arm brace. And even if you attach just the end tips of these velcro straps, they still tighten entirely too much if you have larger (muscular) arms. That is the only complaint that I can register with this particular HUEGLO Right Shoulder Brace for Men. Comfort-wise, excepting the overly snug arm situation, the brace is quite comfortable with soft materials on the side that attaches to the body, which means you can wear this brace for a long time. As for its effectiveness, I noticed a difference right away. The brace keeps the shoulder in place with no wiggling or grating at all. Now please keep this in mind. In my opinion, this brace can be worn all day because it keeps your shoulder in place (to use that term). It does a good job of keeping the shoulder from making any unnecessary and ill-advised movements. In closing, if there is one strong recommendation that I could make - it is to offer sizes. I feel this particular (supposedly one size fits all) HUEGLO Right Shoulder Brace for Men, is perhaps sized to more of a medium (max) frame. They need to have sizes available such as SM/MED or LG/XLG. After trying this HUEGLO Right Shoulder Brace for Men, I now know the relief/support they can provide. So other than the overally tight (I'm speaking on my behalf only) arm grip, it is a good purchase. I'm giving it 5 stars because of its very low price. I purchased the shoulder support to mitigate pain from a sprain. The support works well when the shoulder was immobile, when using the shoulder for routine movements I found the support irritated the area near my arm pit, even adjusting the support I still experienced irritation. The support is well made and accurately described, it may work well if it happens to fit your body and you don't use the shoulder much during the healing process. I would also add: I have a 41" chest and I think the support would be too small for someone with a 44" or larger, best to inquire. Read more

I usually give the seller the benefit of the doubt but I gotta say this product is a big disappointment. First of all, there's no instructions as to how to put the thing on your body/shoulder. You have all these various materials flopping around when you open the package. Then you have to figure out all the velcro snaps and in my opinion, it takes TWO people to put it on you. We just received it, and my husband tried it and he absolutely loves it! He has been in pain with his right shoulder, and we scheduled an appt with an ortho, but can't get in for 3 weeks.
