After having three brain surgeries and then experiencing a 90% deficit in the movement of my left arm, my shoulder, took a pounding from my arm drooping so much that it caused a frozen shoulder and cervical radiculopathy and nerve palsy among other things. The video review that I saw for this item was very helpful to me in deciding to make the purchase. I have found it provides support so that my shoulder doesn’t droop as much while I go through PT to regain the strength in my arm. I like that I am able to put it on with just my right arm and it’s easy to use thanks to the Velcro closure. I ordered the medium. This shoulder brace is similar to many others offered for sale. I resisted ordering one because they looked terribly uncomfortable and looked confining. But the pain of my broken clavicle won out and I ordered one. It is indeed pretty uncomfortable. Another one I ordered was too large and was even more uncomfortable than this one, indicating that proper size is critical. It definitely provides needed support. It enables me to do many more things than I could do without it with less residual pain. I don't particularly love wearing it because the cross- body strap is in fact restricting and pretty uncomfortable, but on the other hand I don't like having a broken clavicle either. I do like the fact very much that it comes with an ice pack / heat pack. I've been using my heating pad quite a bit. The pack that comes with the brace provides mobility and some comfort to my sore shoulder. I recommend it for the support.It provides. Read more

I have shoulder issues from a car accident from almost twenty years ago. I then developed frozen shoulder, did therapy for a year but could not seam to ease up the pain. Luckily my mobility did improve and it’s up to 80%, I myself consider that good enough. I was thinking surgery but for a last ditch effort I wondered if this can help. It does. I am giving it a proper rest, it helps it stay where it should. I even started climbing and in between brace it so it’s settling into the proper position. It is definitely a game changer. Read more

I have worn this for about 2 weeks now. It is my second one I bought. It seems to be stretching out around the shoulder. It also has a plastic buckle between the bicep and body which will rub if I use for sports. The reason I returned a different brand. I probably should have returned this one, but it is better than the other one. The buckle is mor towards the front and I doubt if I will wear for sports. Read more
