Important: niches are not created equal!
Seven stars!! Here are five things you need to know about niches before you purchase: First, the largest shampoo bottles are 11 1/2 inches in the US. Second, your niche is going to get a lot smaller as you add the tile. Third, for a niche to hold a large shampoo bottle, it must start out at least 13 1/2 inches high. Fourth, don’t forget that everything needs to be framed and water sealed before you start. Finally, fifth, this is the only extra wide niche on Amazon that actually works for large bottles. I ordered and returned several. This is a fantastic value, and exceptionally well-made. Please review the step-by-step construction photos to get a sense of how the size of the niche shrinks as it gets installed. Read more
