A wide variety of colors and patterns. Easy to increase projection area by tilting the base a little. Great value for the price. Not negatives, but things to know: There is no switch on the unit-all control is through the remote. Remote battery is included-it’s ready to use. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been eyeing these things for a good three months but never actually got one until now. I opted for the usb option without a speaker. I was already aware that the color options would be limited to what is on the remote, but there is one issue I have with it - while you can adjust the brightness on the individual colors, you cannot do so with the other preset modes. So far I have just been keeping the device plugged in, and using the remote to turn it on and off. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes it tends to turn itself on, even when the remote is nowhere near me. The issues I’ve experience are minor and don’t affect my enjoyment of the light, but I thought it would be helpful to others to mention. Read more

I like it! I was worried because so often the photos for this sort of thing are a real stretch, but it's actually quite vibrant, plenty to light up a bedroom. Good variety of colors to choose from, and the gentle movement is a nice effect. The remote control is a joke though, it only works within literally 1 inch of the light, some of the buttons on it are very finicky and some don't work at all. I'd like to exchange the remote, although the construction is so flimsy that I'm not sure whether this one's defective or if that's just how they are. Its saving grace is that the light can still be turned on/off and colors cycled by touching the light itself, so the remote isn't totally crucial (although you would lose out on control of the brightness/functions without the remote).
