This is a compact,quality, sturdy wood clock that's nice and quiet and has a nice "feel" to it. Not the lightest clock ever but is light & small enough for travel clock. I have to touch it to my ear to hear any noise at all. The thick wood case tends to muffle the "standard" alarm mechanism with the ubiquitous obnoxious beep beep beep but there's no volume control and it's still too loud for my preference. No bells and whistles here. Just a nice looking, noiseless bedside alarm clock. I love that the face is not lit through the night making it easier to fall asleep. The snooze button on top which also lights up the clock face when pressed in conveniently located and easy to find. It keeps accurate time and doesn't take up much space on the nightstand. Yes, you have to remember to turn on the alarm each night unless you want it to go off every 12 hours. That's not a deal breaker for me. This is a cute little clock for a bedside, but if you want an accurate time, don't get this clock. I wanted to like it because it is very small and has a nice night light with a top button if you need to see the time. The time is way off though, not just a minute or two. I set it at around 6:00 pm to try it out. The alarm went off about 10 minutes late and the actual time is 4-5 minutes slow from the time I set it (about an hour ago) It lost this much time in an hour! It is fairly cheaply made, too for the money. It is going back. :( Read more
This alarm clock is okay. It's attractive and does what it's supposed to do. Has a pleasant wake-up sound. I do think the buttons for setting it are small and hard to read, and the snooze time is frustratingly short compared to most other alarms. It's not long enough to doze off a little. Read more
I like that the clock is made of real wood (I accidentally knocked my old plastic clock off the chest and it shattered!). However, I wish they had smoothed the edges of the wood more, because they are rather sharp, and I am accident-prone (see above, lol.) I do like the push-button light, which is not too bright. The clock does not tick, and the face is very easy to read. I just can’t decide if the sharp edges are a deal-breaker or not. Read more
