I bought this fan for my work desk because I get hot very easily, and it works great! I was surprised at how strong the breeze was, especially on the highest setting! I measured how far the breeze would go, and on the 2nd setting, you can feel a light breeze from up to 8 ft away, which is great for a small fan of this size, in my opinion! Read more

The media could not be loaded. The Hurricane Clip-On 6" Fan puts out a good breeze (low & high) and has a strong clamp. It does NOT come with a base for use on a table top. I clipped the fan to an old base I had & it now works as a table fan (see photo with white base). The adjustment knob below the motor (see photo with fingers on knob) can't be securely tightened in some positions. See video - the knob was as tight as I could turn it, but the fan would not stay in position. So, I drilled a small hole thru the support piece and incerted a paper clip to hold the fan in place (see photo with RED paper clip). This works, but obviously you can not tilt the fan head. OTHER features: • The front grill is held on with a single screw, once the screw is removed the grill can be easily turned and comes off for cleaning. • This fan has no grip area for lifting or carrying the fan by the top. That would be a feature on most table top fans - this fan is sold as clamp on only. Read more
