I'm a flouride fan so I'm always skeptical of alternative products. I can't vouch for the long term effects as I will be going back to fluoride once this is out however what I can at least say my teeth feel no less clean vs my name brand fluoride based toothpaste. Obviously I can't see the effects on my teeth at the microscopic level though. I'll leave that to the dental professionals who almost universally recommend fluoride. What I really like though is the taste. It tastes like a recent mint ice cream I had. So imagine if ice cream were safe for your teeth but you couldn't swallow it. That's basically this product. I like that the toothpaste is a mint flavor and subtle. It's pretty much the only flavor that I use when using toothpaste. This toothpaste is supposed to be strengthening and protect your enamel. I've been using it for a short amount of time so of course, it will take some time to see how well it does in that area. My breath does end up being nice and fresh and feeling clean using this toothpaste. It is a little bit thicker than some of the other toothpaste out there. The best feature is that it is a sensitive focus. Toothpaste and I always meet that because my teeth and gums do have pain at times. It's about comparable to other toothpaste options since they are all so expensive and you get two tubes. However, since it's on the higher end and is new to the markmarket I took off a star. I am loving this toothpaste and will probably buy it from now on. I do believe that the hydroxyapatite is strengthening my teeth, and unlike many whitening toothpastes, this one has not caused me any tongue irritation. The directions indicate you only need a pea-sized amount, and that is truly all it takes. That makes the toothpaste last a long time, so it’s a great value. Nano Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste is a fantastic, non-toxic alternative to traditional fluoride toothpaste. Made from natural calcium phosphate, it works wonders by strengthening your teeth and replenishing enamel with calcium and phosphate, helping to keep cavities at bay. I usually go for the 7.5% version, but I think the 9.9% is a good alternative. Just a tip: don’t forget to remove the aluminum seal before you squeeze out the toothpaste. The scent is hardly noticeable, and it has a nice subtle mint flavor, not the best flavor, but definitely not off-putting. After using it, my teeth felt super clean and I experienced no discomfort at all. I really like this toothpaste and will definitely buy it again. I’m giving it 4.5 stars, rounding it up to 5. I've been curious about hydroxyapatite toothpaste for a while now, especially since I'm trying to be more mindful of the ingredients in my personal care products. This Yueplattnmay toothpaste caught my eye with its 9.9% hydroxyapatite concentration, which seems pretty high compared to some other brands I've seen. Since I'm trying to avoid fluoride with every brushing, the fluoride-free formulation is a big plus. I'm hoping that the hydroxyapatite will be just as effective in strengthening my enamel and preventing cavities. So far it has lived up to its claims of being gentle against my sometimes-sensitive teeth. I’m hopeful that the 9.9% hydroxyapatite will indeed strengthen and protect their tooth enamel as is claimed. While looking for toothpaste that didn’t contain fluoride, I came across this toothpaste that contains a natural mineral which may turn out to be a great alternative. The little research I’ve done points to hydroxyapatite has having potential for keeping teeth strong. Since I’ve been plagued with soft teeth since I was a child this caught my eye. But I am neither a dentist nor a scientist. So I’ll be using this toothpaste as a trial. The taste of this brand is nice and minty without being overpowering. My mouth feels squeaky clean after brushing. It’s designed for sensitive teeth which is important to me. It’s not gritty or watery. Everything seems good. I make sure not to swallow the toothpaste and rinse thoroughly as a precaution because hydroxyapatite hasn’t been put through rigorous testing. And I’ll wait until my next dental checkup to decide if this type of toothpaste will become my go to! But so far so good! Read more
