This light is really bright and super easy to install. I personally like how bright it is, but if you prefer otherwise, there is different settings that you can dim the light and change the color tone from LED to that older yellowish style color. Read more

We really like this light, it's probably double as bright as the old 70's style light that we replaced. Installing it was very straightforward, though it was a little awkward trying to attach the cables together while also balancing the light. It does come with a safety latch thing that will technically let it hang but it felt a little precarious. I'd recommend having two people just in case. It doesn't fit exactly flush with my ceiling, but I blame that on the old junction being wonky than the light itself. It also kinda of "twists" onto the plate to lock it in place, but there's nothing stopping it from "untwisting" back off of it so that's something to be mindful of too. Overall happy with it! For 12 inches that is one bright light! My bathroom always seemed so dark and gloomy... Well I solved that problem 😅 I still have to put up a new vanity light but honestly don't see the point with how bright this little guy is. So bright and easy to install!!! The three optional brightness levels are on a tiny lever inside, so set before you hang it. I was able to change out my previous fixture to this one within ten minutes. The 5000 setting is amazing! It is so low profile to the ceiling it makes it blend with any decor! Read more
