I bought this to add on top of our foam mattress topper I added to our new motor home to help soften the factory bed. the foam was making my hubby run hot and he didn't like the feeling of the contours it had either. So added this in hopes to help cool things off and get rid of the feeling of the foam contours. Ran it through the dryer on our "sanitize" setting to fluff it up which worked great. It did help keep the bed a tad cooler. As many mention it doesn't have a "cooling" effect, not sure why they market it that way. Its not cold when you touch it and will heat up with your body heat like any other bedding. There is no miracle fabric that will stay cold after you lay on it...maybe someday. The point is to allow for more air circulation, which it did seem to provide. He said he still got hot but it was much better. He just sleeps hot no matter what. The extra padding did get rid of the foam contour feeling, so that was nice I must admit. Although it didn't bother me I do prefer the smoother soft top. It added a nice softness and cozy feeling. Also we have a "king" bed in the motor home but its not a full king but also bigger than a queen...sigh...I swear they do this just to mess with you! I got the queen size topper and its a couple inches short of the edge but considering you don't generally sleep on the very outer edge didn't think it would be an issue, and its not. I was worried the king was going to be too big and hang over the edge, our mattress is really tight to the side tables so I didn't want to add more bulk to the width. The queen fit nice and snug over it just fine and the couple missing inches didn't bother either one of us at all. Just FYI if you are looking at this for a weird size RV mattress., a size smaller is fine - it has deep pockets that were plenty big enough to fit around and hold it on tightly. All in all, it seems like a good product, provided nice padding and air circulation to help make the cheap factory RV mattress something we can use for hopefully quite some time. I mistakingly ordered some over-firm mattresses and could not return them. On the search for something to soften them up, I found this mattress pad and absolutely love it! It feels like you're floating on a cloud. It fit our beds well and took a long time for us to experience a stain. The only down fall is how large they are. I tried to wash one in a standard washing machine after a spill and something rubbed on the pad in the wash and wore a hole in the mattress pad. It was still useable and i would have continued to use it on my own bed but we were using it in a bed and breakfast so it needed to be defect free for guests. The fact that they are so incredibly comfortable and they weren't very expensive led me to hop online and order a replacement. When I need mattress pads now, i plan to order only these. Read more

The other week I came home to discover that my puppy decided to eat a small hole in my mattress :/. Luckily it was towards the foot of the bed and it was mostly string and fabric in a ball that an issue. I have a pretty great mattress and the hole wasn’t big enough to have to replace the mattress and it’s one of those that I can’t flip to the other side. After a week, the hole was annoying because my foot would rub against it and even through a sheet you could see it. I decided to get a mattress cover to even out the mattress and prevent my puppy from wanting to dig more at the spot he ate. The price is initially what drew me in. I got it while it was on sale for around $25. I honestly wasn’t expecting much since I wasn’t looking to add anything other than leveling the mattress. Once I got it, I immediately washed and dried it. Held up well and only had to do one cycle on the dryer which was nice. It fit nicely over my mattress and I liked the fact that the cover has long..sheets on it? I’m not sure how to describe it, but it’s basically got the idea of a fitted sheet. My sheets fit really good over it as well. Wow. Honestly I was very surprised when I went to bed. It did even everything out like I wanted but it was also very soft and felt very luxurious. I don’t have a problem sleeping or anything but, I slept even better than usual and felt really refreshed. Even though I didn’t really want to get up in the morning, it made it easier since I slept good. It really felt like I was sleeping on a luxury mattress at a nice hotel at the beach. It really felt like a little slice of luxury in my home. I really love it. I would definitely purchase this again and am going to recommend this to my parents. Read more

Adds Comfort, But Not as Plush as Expected This mattress pad does what it promises—it gives a soft, quilted layer that makes a firm mattress feel more forgiving. The fit is excellent; the deep pocket design stretches well and holds in place without shifting overnight. It also adds a touch of cooling, which is nice if you tend to run warm at night, though it’s not a dramatic difference compared to specialty cooling toppers. Where it fell short for me was in overall loft. It’s fluffy and pleasant, but not quite as “plush pillow top” as the product photos suggest. If your mattress is very firm and you’re looking for a cloud-like feel, this won’t be enough on its own. Another thing to note is that, while breathable, it does run warm if paired with thick blankets. That said, it’s well-constructed, machine-washable, and definitely improves comfort at a fair price. Easy to put on & a great addition to our bed. The cal king size was spot on and you can definitely feel the difference when sleeping. It’s cooling and fluffy especially after you put it in the dryer for a bit. We put it on medium for about 20 minutes and it fluffed up perfectly. Will be buying another for my mom! Read more
