Used these to replace the old fluorescent tube lights in my barn. It’s a high dust environment so need the vapor tight. I had put LED tubes in the old fixtures but they worked intermittently in cold weather. These lights are great. They are brighter than the old lights and are not affected by temperature. They are noticeably smaller than the old fluorescent tube lights; both are 4 feet long but these are much narrower, so the look is similar but not a perfect match. I had intended to just replace the lights that were failing, but ended up replacing all of the lights because these provide better light. Read more

Bright and diffuse light! Perfect brightness for around 8-10 foot ceilings above a workbench. Did some testing in the shop and found the 40w units weren't quite enough to hit the 16 foot roof above with a ton of brightness but that's to be expected. Overall construction quality is excellent (and honestly better than a lot of more expensive fixtures). Of particular note are the large array of knock-outs on the backside of the fixture if you decide to hide the wiring. Loved that they put in safety cables to prevent the led panel from falling if you need to unsnap the lens. Also the extra terminal block to daisy chain another unit in makes it super easy to expand. Overall this fixture punches way above it's price point and is right at home in nasty environments. Read more
