I bought these boots from ICHIGO in size 7.5 and they fit perfectly true to size and very comfortable once broken in. The design is super versatile; you can wear them with dresses, pants, jeans, or even shorts, and they always look great. The material feels very high quality and durable, but it’s a bit stiff at first. I strongly recommend wearing long socks, especially during the first few wears. Otherwise, the side zipper might rub against the side of your leg and cause some irritation. The back of the ankle can also feel a bit rough without proper socks. After a few wears, they start to soften and become much more comfortable. I also love the side zipper, which makes them easy to put on without having to constantly tie and untie the laces. The media could not be loaded. First off, 3 times out of 4, I have fit issues with shoes. The ball of my foot is wide so I need a roomy toe box. The rest of my feet are narrow and I have super high arches. Most shoes will either 1) pinch my toes, 2) fit perfectly except that they’re slightly too short so my toes will hit the front of the shoe, 3) be constricting at the instep— active pressure on/squeezing the top of my foot, and 4) the back of the shoe will eat my achilles tendon and/or ankles to the point blood is dripping— gross, I know. All of the aforementioned issues makes it seem like I’m buying shoes that are too small BUT the very next size up is always too large and I’m falling out of them. Usually I settle for an 8.5 in shoes and just deal with my toes being pinched inward, as the next size up tends to be so large at the heel that I’m slipping out when I walk. I ordered a 9 in these and they fit PERFECTLY. My toes have wiggle room, my pinky toes are not smooshed inward, there’s no pressure on the top of my foot, my heels are secure but not choked (they’re not lifting up as I walk), and there’s no achilles/ankle friction. They’re super cute and despite having toe room, they do not look like clown shoes. I love that they have zippers on the inside so I don’t have to tie them to put them on. The only issue is that they’re really squeaky. The squeaks happen from the tongue rubbing against the outer, laced part. I love everything else about these boots so I’m keeping them. I’ve been wearing them around the house to break them in (still super comfy a few hours in), so hopefully it’ll diminish the squeaking. Read more

These ICHIGO women’s combat booties do what they’re supposed to do and look good doing it—at least at first. The fit is solid and comfortable, and the lace-up design with the side zipper makes them easy to get on and off without constantly retying. They’re versatile enough to wear casually with jeans or leggings and have that classic combat-boot look that works in a lot of outfits. That said, they do scratch easily. Normal wear seems to leave visible marks quicker than expected, which takes away from the overall look over time. They’re fine for everyday use if you’re not hard on your shoes, but they may not hold up well if you expect them to stay pristine. Overall, they’re a good fit and a decent option for style and comfort—just be aware that the material shows wear faster than you might like. Read more

I bought these awhile ago. Maybe a couple years. And I still have them. Bought them for a festival but then decided to keep on wearing them throughout the years. They look like they have been worn but not to the point where I need to toss them out. I did have to break them in but that didn't take long. I love these boots. I want another pair! Read more
