The media could not be loaded. Download the iDiskk app, plug it in, wait for the device to show up in the app and tap “Backup” it’ll start backing up everything you’ve got. “Backup Contacts” is self explanatory. Yes! You can leave the app and do other things on your phone while you back everything up (Do not close the app fully ofc, just open another screen, let it run open in the background stack). I was watching Youtube, playing a couple of games on my phone, scrolling through social media and listening to music all while everything was being backed up and it didn’t mess with the speed of the backup or the health of the files. I just checked on it every now and again. Make sure your phone is charged enough to do all of this or you’ll have to stop the backup so you can charge your phone beyond 3% lol. I let my phone to 23% before I got impatient, it finished everything before I got to 20%, which is great considering everything else I was doing on my phone. If you need to stop the backup in the middle, follow the instructions in red that say to tap the “stop” button, wait 10 seconds (it’ll say backup successful) and then go back to the home page and tap “eject”. Obviously snatching the cord out without doing these steps could corrupt or delete of your files. If some of your files don’t get backed up make sure you have iCloud photo backup enabled in settings! That being said, it’s been great so far! I’ve put over 2K photos and videos on it from my phone, then thousands of additional images and documents from my old computer. I checked how much space I have left and I barely made a dent, it’s amazing! Despite its shape it’s not heavy, just wish it was thinner. The whole thing simple to use and it works quickly! Larger files (for me it was videos) will take longer, but you won’t be waiting hours for everything to upload. It doesn’t have 4 full TB for you to access btw, it’s really 3.63TB but considering how much stuff I threw on there and how much space I still have left, I say it’s more than worth it! I used my computer to make sure the files from my phone were still good before dumping them off of my phone and creating some much needed space. If you can spare the money, it’s 100% worth it to get one of these. Read more

I am very pleased with the external hard drive. I purchased it to clear up / save the over 18,000 photos and videos on my phone. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The hard drive is light weight and can be used with multiple devices. It took some time to download everything, But again, I had a lot of pictures. I used it for an iphone 14. I would suggest you check to make sure everything is back up before deleting from your phone or device. Overall, it's excellent and worth purchasing. Read more

I bought as it says it work for iPhone and I iPad. Works for Iphone17 pro max but slow. Never worked for my iPad Pro. I contacted the seller for almost 3 days back and forth. .unprofessional response every days asking me questions ,where the seller can find in my first contact message. End up waisting my time. Then seller asked me to returning without providing it. Without providing any information to initiate a return. Contacted Amazon about this seller. But no help either. Read more

This works great with my iphone SE. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because it would be nice if it included a better instruction manual. I had to figure it out myself. Read more

I appreciate the IDiskk product however it’s takes a long time to upload/download pictures. Unfortunately, you have to select photos one by one. There is a selection for multi select that only gives you an option to select all or individually select. I had approximately 11,000 pictures on my phone and to upload about 2500 of those pictures took five + almost 6 hours. The other 7500 pics failed. I don’t know why?? You are able to leave the app and do other things on your phone, but that only slows down the process because when you go back into the app to check the progress, everything has to re-upload and reboot itself, which slows down the process and stops the process. I ended up having to stop the transfer due to idiskk, failing and not completing so it stopped the download its self. So I went back a couple of days later and did a secondary transfer that took 4hr. & 56 minutes. But it did end up getting done. I have a secondary phone that had approximately 1500 photos that I transferred took about an hour maybe an hour and a half. There is no slide and drop option and I think that would be extremely helpful for this type of device because uploading files or pictures takes way too long Picking one file/pics at a time and waiting for a completed upload it’s just way to long. I’m giving the IDiskk 3 star because it did do what it said it was going to do, it just took a lot of time. The device looks like the pictures shown so it’s true to that and it’s size the three different plug-ins for the three different devices in which I use two different devices with two different plug-ins that are attached to the eye disk for the download of photos. I do appreciate that you can connect IDiskk to your phone and video record and take photos at the same time and directly download them onto the IDiskk. I’m not sure if it goes directly into the IDiskk but in the user manual it does give that as an option. Read more
