This cover kit is easy to install because it has a hard bottom and headrest straps. Instead of having to tuck in every corner like a conventional dog seat cover it even extends the seat area so it is more comfortable for dogs to lay down. I'm pretty happy with the comfort it provides the dogs and durability is good, quality of materials well-suited to the application. I received this dog care seat in new condition. Fast delivery. Tried this out on my 70lb rescue dog in a Ram 2500 then an Honda CRV Pros: Good quality My nervous nellie peed and did not leak thru to the seat Catches shedding dog hair Love that there is a slit that the seat belt buckle can be used to attach a safety leash Not slippery if your dog gets wet in the rain. (Unfortunately was able to try this feature out!) Nails did not damage the seat cover Hard bottom so keeps it shape Strapes are strong and did not slip thru the buckle once installed Cons: Did not fit well in the my brand new Ram. Had to keep one of the side panels down to keep my seat protected which allowed my dog to use door arm rest to prop up on and look out the window. Scratched up the arm rest with her nails. Fit the CRV well There is a learning curve. Directions were not the best and there was not a step regarding the bottom insert until I had it already installed in the car. Takes some trial and error to figure which straps go where Had to wash the cover and there was still stuck in the seat. In all, I would recommend this seat cover. This works perfectly in my smaller sedan. We have a large dog but a smaller car and this was very sturdy in the backseat. There are lots of options and I love that you can sort of fold it up but leave it in the car for quick use later. You can tether the leash also, for added safety. Ordered this car seat cover for my 2023 Mazda CX-9. First thing I noticed was the outer material, which seemed thin and not as tough as the three other brand covers I have purchased in the past. I assembled the (8) hard panels into the seat cover after unzipping the lightweight zippers. I attached the eight straps to the car headrests and assist handles and zipped the sides. The overall back seat area protection was good. I rated the seat cover at three stars for several reasons: 1. The cover includes a storage bag that can only be used if you remove the eight panels. Removing and installing the panels for storage is cumbersome and would likely result in broken zippers. 2. The outer material and reinforcing fabric is thin which makes me question long-term durability. 3. The cover requires six straps for support rather than four because of the decision to use (8) small panels instead of three larger panels as with the rest of the covers I own. 4. The product description page does not accurately describe the cover (built in three panels?). 5. The straps slide out of adjustment very easily. I would purchase this cover for occasional use only. I own a 10-and-a-half-year-old Great Dane, who could use a bit more space in the backseat of my SUV. So, I decided to give this seat cover a try as it claims to fit in the backseat of pretty much all vehicles and to hold up to 500lbs while making the space from the seat expand to the back of the front seats. When it arrived, I was immediately impressed by how thick the material felt. I was very excited to install it in my vehicle. The instructions were a bit confusing at first, but with my boyfriend helping, we were able to figure it out without too much trouble. We were almost finished when I realized the directions hadn't said anything about the stiff plastic inserts that were supposed to support the base. We had to search to find the zippers to put the inserts in. I was genuinely surprised that they weren't already installed since the directions never even mention how to install them. Once we thought we had it installed correctly, we were disappointed because it didn't fit properly. It was actually due to a road trip that I began to mess with the seat cover and discovered that there was more that we were supposed to do for proper installation that was either missing from the directions or wasn't made clear to us. Properly installed, it looks and works just as described. My Great Dane loves the extra space. I love the leash that has the seat belt clip on it because I can just clip it onto his harness for added safety in case of an accident. It also prevents him from bolting as soon as I open the back door. I had to wrap the back of the headrest clips multiple times because, even after adjusting them as tightly as possible, they are still too long. That is a very minor gripe, though. Overall, we love this dog seat cover and our dog loves it too! I am going to be recommending it to anyone who needs a way to protect their seats when transporting their furry friends. Read more

I drive a 2025 Honda Pilot with a third row. My puppers is a little 150 lb Husky\Newfoundland doggo. His hair is the color of a newfie but the texture and length of a husky. He sheds similar to a husky as well. For me, where has this cover been all of the 8 years i have had him?!?!?! this installed easy enough. there is a some what plasticky smell to the product however I notice with each day its less and less. on a scale of being able to smell it, i would say its a 2 out 5 but its not obnoxious( not a make or break it) I have not cleaned the product via washer however using my hand held vacuum it cleaned easily.
