This lighted niche is absolutely gorgeous at the end of my hallway. I got it for one of the bathrooms, but realized it would look fantastic in the hall deadend. I had a long mirror there but this looks so much more interesting. After the install (super easy and quick, you're basically just cutting the right sized hole in the drywall and running the cord) I added the same texture as the hallway. Then I put a sweet little cameo of my grandmother on the shelf, along with a dried bouquet momento from my son and a clay mask my daughter made me when she was little. It's beautiful! Like I said, it's a simple install even for a layperson. I checked my plan with my brother in law first, since I'm not knowledgeable about such things and was worried I might miss a detail or two. Nope, it really was that simple, so I measured and cut, ran the cord to the outlet, affix and bam, done. Well, almost, texturing too. My texture didn't require new paint, so I got to decorate as soon as it was dry. The instructions worked great for me, it was mostly intuitive, beyond not trusting my own diy sense. It's a great sized shelf, is excellent quality steel, and a bargain for the price point. It's stable and strong. I would definitely buy this in the future, and love how simple it was for me, a non-handy person, to make something so nice looking. I am really pleased, this is a 5 star product, no question, and I highly recommend it. I really needed a win today, and this niche really helped me get one. Read more
