it’s been about a year or so now that we’ve been using this frame with our mattress and i have only one complaint. let’s start with the good though! it’s so sturdy, for starters. makes zero noise when you move around on it we had another all metal frame and all you heard was metal clanking when you got in and out, and don’t even get me started on adult fun time. being a plus size lady, having a sturdy frame below me is key. there’s no loose screws, no creaking, no wobbling, it’s great. the bars on the headboard keep my pillow from falling down into the abyss, and i absolutely love the ledge! my water bottle, smoke stick, snacks and whatever else sit in that shelf every night and i’ve never had anything fall on me or spill, my boyfriend puts open pop cans up there too and no amount of movement has caused anything to fall or move. this doesn’t require a box spring which is how most beds are made these days. my 14” king amazon mattress fits perfectly and doesn’t fall off. i will say there’s about an inch of room for the mattress to slide back and forth, side to side and it slides a bit when i make the bed every morning but it’s no biggie. it doesn’t slide up or down or fall off the edges so i can deal with it. now for the downside. as others have mentioned, the two supports on either side of the frame are the perfect real estate for slamming your toes into. as much as i try to remember they are they and try to avoid them, i stub my toes everyday making the bed. i don’t understand, i’ve had other frames with similar supports and i never stubbed my toes. these must be in the absolute perfect position for maximum toe annihilation. maybe if they offset it a bit or put them deeper into the frame it would relieve some of that, but who knows. overall i love this frame. it’s simplistic and modern and price appropriate for what you get. it’s lightweight and easy to move when assembled if you want to rearrange your room. not having to buy a box spring to use this is the cherry on top. you can’t really go wrong with this! Pretty sturdy bedframe overall, doesn't creak and the little platform above the headboard is nice. 2 things I think could be improved: * Stickies under the mattress - while the bed won't fall off because it's raised at the end, you can easily push/move the mattress off the bed frame (basically no friction, but the weight holding it in place) * Screws stick out - it's not the most intrusive thing in the world, but seeing the screws stick out especially near the headboard takes away some of the "wow" factor of this bed frame. Would I purchase it again? It depends if you really want the platform above the headboard, for a good price, and don't mind the bed being able to shift (if you push it while you're off the bed). For me, I probably would look at other alternatives because the screws sticking out just seem a bit offputting to me.. Read more
My new guest room needed a bed. I wanted something neutral, that could go with any other furniture in the room, and most importantly, not expensive. I liked the simplicity of this frame. I liked that it had the shelf, and I liked the colors. It's lightweight before you put a mattress on it, but after, it weighs enough it doesn't slide around, but not so heavy you can't move it if you need to. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions are pictures only, no written, so pay attention to where the holes are in the bars! We messed that up a couple of times and had to backtrack, take a couple pieces apart, turn the bars, then reattach. Even doing that, it only took about 45 minutes to put together. We did get to the headboard at the very end and realized the bottom bars were backwards, instead of taking everything back apart, we attached it backwards, and it still looks great! I would say it's a medium height. There is plenty of room underneath to put baskets or shoes or whatever. The support is fantastic, there are a ton of support bars. I've walked on the mattress on this frame multiple times and not heard a creak, not felt like it would collapse at all. I don't think I could have found anything better at this price, for what I was looking for. Very happy. Read more

I needed a frame for my queen size bed. I wanted to get rid of the box spring. I took a chance with this frame having no reviews. It was the only one I saw that appealed to me in every way. This frame went together easily. I only needed help with my daughter holding the frame so I could connect the second half together at the center lengthwise. The directions were easy to follow. There were only two minor issues. Everything went smoothly until I went to screw in the center screws at the foot of the frame and at the very center. Both screws wouldn't tighten all the way down. Even so, the frame is very sturdy. I don't know if it's the screws or the frame. I continued putting the slats in and put the mattress on. It's very solid. No noise or wiggling. The shelf is the perfect size. I messaged the seller to see if they could send me out 2 replacement screws. They responded promptly. I will have to take an actual picture of the screws to show them. I'm sure everything will be resolved. I will post an update soon. So far, I'm very pleased! Read more
