I had an apple keyboard that died (coffee spill), I loved the design but not the price, so I was drawn to this product. It is slim, smooth and beautiful. It's USB connection, it's very stable, with 1.5M length cable, suitable for my desktop PC , Mac and Laptop very well. If you don't want to spend too much money on an authentic apple keyboard, this is the perfect match! I really enjoyed the fact that its pretty thin and it works just as good as the apple one for it is 1/3 the price.Bottom line: It works well, looks good and seems to be holding up. I would buy it again! Read more

Imagine your laptop or desktop computer's keyboard, minus the numeric keys on the right side, and with no fancy keys or lights on a top That's what you get with this keyboard. And it works well. The keys are the raised chicklet style and are full-size. They provide a quiet click so there is some feedback. Function keys appear on the top line and, if needed, the "number lock" button can be selected to provide a number pad. Having used it only one day, I am going to reserve my final rating for a few days. If it continues to operate, with no drop out of the keys, I will upgrade it to 5-star. If it punks out within the 30-day return period, I will change my rating accordingly. Read more

This solved my issue with my hands going numb from holding them up to my laptop! I can sit this on my lap to type so my position is much more ergonomic and natural. I don't even feel it on my lap really, it's so light. I was worried when it dropped on the floor, more than once (due only to my clumsiness), but it endures without fail, going on about 6 months now. The keys don't make a lot of sound effects and I like the feel and response. I have small hands, so my caveat is, if you have large hands this might not be the best option for your typing accuracy. If you don't mind reaching down and unplugging & replugging this unit, it is great. For me this is unrealistic for a gaming keyboard and arguably for regular office work as well. I like the shallow keys and I like the small footprint but I don't like the expletives that fly out of my mouth when this thing stops working altogether at the most inopportune moments. I suppose one could argue that at the price point it still may have value, however it's still probably the worse investment one could make considering, 95% of us will simply end up buying another keyboard when we get fed up with the constant arbitrary lockups. I work in IT and have small adjustable desk space and sometimes I need to carry my keyboard and mouse to work. First one I bought was several years ago and one of the keys got damaged due to misuse. I am glad to find it again on Amazon and bought two. This keyboard size is perfect, typing is very quiet, keys are qwerty with scissor mechanism and it has Fn key to allow page up/down and home/end for editing which is a must for my work. Even one of my coworkers was impressed with this keyboard. Overall, I don't think there is any better mini keyboard out there at this price, highly recommended. Read more

I needed a small USB keyboard for my Mac to replace the small Mac bluetooth keyboard. This keyboard does the job, but it is not ideal. It is pleasant to type on and similar enough to the Mac bluetooth keyboard to make the transition mostly unnoticeable. My biggest issue is that for some reason the keyboard frequently outputs duplicate characters as if I've typed them multiple times, despite having a slow key-repeat rate. Maybe the keyboard is more sensitive than most and registers shaky fingers. I don't know whether to blame the keyboard, just that I don't have this problem on Mac keyboards. I'm often backspacing to delete these duplicates. The keyboard swaps the option and command keys relative to the Mac, and it also swaps the control and function keys. I'm able to use system settings to unswap the option and command keys but I see no way to unswap the control and function keys. Most people probably look at the keyboard to use these keys, but I'm a programmer whose fingers are in need of frequently using all the controls, so this is a recurring issue. This particularly wrecks my use of vi and vim. Despite these issues, I give the keyboard 4 stars because it is otherwise pleasant to the touch and quite usable for normal purposes. UPDATE #1: After only a few days of use, the caps lock LED stopped working. I never realized how much I depended on that light to know whether I forgot to end caps lock. Still, the light was annoying because it was very bright and bled over to lighting up all the indicators, not just the caps lock one. The keyboard otherwise remains functional. (I have since learned that unplugging and reconnecting the USB fixes this light problem, so the light isn't burned out.) UPDATE #2: Holding the left shift key down at its lower-right corner does not register. Apparently it's my habit to press the shift key at that location, because I'm constantly having to backup and retype the character. This has gotten pretty annoying. I now think we're looking at a bunch of silly design flaws. While the keyboard is still usable, it's looking pretty sloppy, so I'm dropping to 3 stars and adding the word "mostly" to the review title. UPDATE #3: I have stopped using this keyboard because it's tendency to repeat characters makes it frustrating to enter passwords. I'm entering passwords I know well 1-4 times before it gets it right. This is mainly a problem with passwords because applications don't show you what you've typed, making for no opportunity to delete the characters that the keyboard randomly repeats. I don't know if this problem exists on Windows computers, for which the keyboard was made. I can only say that this isn't a very good keyboard for Macs. Read more
