I know many of you aren’t here searching for a cat brush, but if you have a floofer with long floof it’s worth considering, and for those who are here is a helpful review! I love this! I purchased it because I wanted back my own brush. Unlike mine the end is not removable to clean, but for this purpose, that seems fine. The actual shape is really ergodynamic for brushing, for both the cat and me. The backside is also useful - sometimes I flip it over to let him have the massage without the fur pulling. I can say with confidence that this has helped me brush him effectively and with *significantly* less need to cut things out. Large matted areas that feel hopeless can be brushed around and teased out because the furs align and the matt disappears, as long as no tiny knots have formed within it. I use it on the first setting and it DOES make a noticeable sound, but my cat seems to love it. Overall, they see this brush as a spa tool, and are willing to overlook the fact that sometimes brushing isn’t a happy time. However, it’s VERY important to note that there are no “no-vibration” settings. Ionic brushes need to be turned on to work. So, if your cat hates the vibration sound, it might not work out. That said it is certainly worth trying, and the actual vibration itself is functional for assisting with hassle free detangling and neatening the fur before it can turn into a real mat. In terms of the ergodynamic - under the chin and around the mane in general, in the armpits, and around the pantaloons are much easier with this shape of brush. Also, belly or edge of belly, depending on whether you’re given a direct angle at all. I make sure to brush when there are no mats sometimes, or just brush more gently occasionally, so he has purely good experiences as well. When I first received the brush, I was excited about it. but after using it for only three months, I noticed that some of the bristles have started coming off (five to date). I had a similar brush for six years from another company and I never lost a single bristle. Unfortunately it stopped running and I was unable to find a replacement. Read more

Nothing to dislike about this brush. I took a chance on it. I wasn’t sure if I would like a massager brush as other massagers for the shower are not what I was looking for. I was looking for a dry hair. I have short hair and sometimes itchy scalp, I love the way it is gentle enough but at the same time deep and I like the way it handles my hair. I never knew you could say so much about a brush but I’m glad I picked it and I’ve told three people about it already, and I’ve also sent it as a gift , at first I put the batteries in wrong you need to alternate them in their battery compartment and pay attention to the directions. I guess the only con would be to figure out how to open the battery compartment but I did and it works and I’m delighted with my purchase which I used my Amazon points for. Read more

Love my new hair brush! This one replaces one I had for several years….and like this one so much better. Smaller than my previous brush and the vibration on this one is great. Leaves your head feeling good! And it appears to be helping promote growth as my haircuts are coming more frequent and the curl in my hair is more evident. (Sometimes the curl is hard to keep from doing its own thing). Fits in your hand comfortably, easy to remove any hair from it, (very little loss ) and requires a AAA battery and you’re good to go!
